the FINAL countdown?? is this their last album??? PEARL JAM IS BREAKING UP?!?!?!?
No they are not breaking up but, after thinking about what you said, and after much anguish from the countdown, and now a new countdown, then you suggested the Final Countdown, I think we just figured it out: Europe will be the opening band! They are just going to play "Final Countdown" for an hour and then get off the stage. FUCK YA today was productive.
Just imagine this beauty before every show on the new tour. It would be the greatest sound your ears would EVER hear.

@ cmm6734:
Thank you very much for that. Can you imagine a PJ cover of that?
Wind this thing up.0 -
No opener equals more PJ.
Springsteen has been doing this for as long as I can recall... makes the vibe and electricity in the building even more amazing as the 7:30 start time streches past 8:00 and gives the band an extra 30-60+ minutes on stage.0 -
Maybe an Albany date also
Would love, I mean LOVE to see Yeah Yeah Yeah's or Beck open for PJ on the West Coast this Fall. But with my luck it'll be Ted Leo & The Pharmacists again.
An added Seattle show on Saturday would be sweet!!
my money would be on the Gaslight Anthem as a possible opener...0 -

Yay! No Pearl Jam in south/central Florida again since 2008. Thanks for saving me the money from buying a pair of tickets since the closest city we can travel to would be in North Carolina or Louisiana.
I'll just sit home and enjoy the shows, listening to all my bootlegs
:corn:
Hey, there's always 2014 (or 2015 or 2016).2000 - Atlanta, West Palm Beach
2003 - Tampa, New York
2008 - West Palm Beach
2012 - Eddie Vedder Ft. Lauderdale
2016 - Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa0 -
Wtf Pearl Jam...$150 for the cheapest tickets for ten club members????
What happened to the band that went to court against overprized tickets?
Very disappointed !!!!0 -
Not really down with GA, though I obviously understand the appeal. Being 5'2.5" means sweaty armpits in my face, elbows to the temples, and PEOPLE USING MY HEAD AS A FUCKING ARMREST. :x
*ahem*
I hope the lower-ish numbers get the 100-level for the reserved seats. Right on the same level as the stage, Ed and/or Mike are sure to visit, and a full view of the light production. DAAAAYYYYYUUUMM. Much better than an owner of a brok- I mean, floor seats halfway back. To short me, that is.
REGARDLESS ... I'm stoked for the shows and curious to see how it all plays out.:corn: Won't know until it's tried, right? Adventure Time in Ten Club! One of my favourite shows was Seattle II 2000, and I was less than 10 rows from the top of the upper deck on the far side of the arena; I'm well aware that I'm far beyond fortunate just being able to go to the show. I fucking rocked those nosebleeds!
And my Stoney prints will get here tomorrow. w00t!
(I'm running on 3 hours' sleep, in case it was necessary to mention. I'm kinda thinking it is.)

Let's just tell ourselves they're waiting to hit Red Rocks next year on a summer tour - it'll be worth the wait. But until then, I saw DEN-OKC RT fare at only $163 RT for that date... can't do much better than that....?0 -

Tricky to travel that time of year but at least I'll see them in San Diego and both LA shows with a little luck from ticketmaster.0 -
I think the next countdown is for the new album but as far as the tour goes I think they will do it similar to how the 2009-2010 tour was done.I know I was born and I know that I'll die
The in between is mine
I am mine0 -
