Good Lord, first time I've successfully been able to get on here all day.
I know Wrigley is a monster show, but no Midwest shows kind of stings. No shows really close to me, but great news nonetheless. Time to start planning some vacation.
I'm thinking screw the first leg of the tour.....at least hit up Dallas and OK City and then Seattle. Sounds like the plan for now.
Great news for a Monday!

Was waiting anxiously for the tour announcement, then saw no Toronto show but there is a buffalo. Got all excited, put my name in the hat for tickets, emailed my wife to let her know, only to get the reply that Oct 12 was a close friends wedding. A lot of profanity ensued. Cancelled my Buffalo tickets and am now in for Pittsburgh the night before. Would love to get floors and get there nice and early and be up close.
This tour falls right during my most intense rotation for school, and I wish the Worcester show fell on the weekend, but that's the luck of the draw. This looks like a great tour, playing some forgotten cities, and giving most fans the chance to see them.
I think the new setup is great. Some of the best shows I have attended have a GA section, packed with all ages, and the energy level is out of control. I can't imagine seeing Bruce, U2, or Muse without GA. Nice to finally get a taste of the European experience for this band! I think these shows will be fantastic!
I just hope to hit one show this tour. It's been 3 years and I have the shakes! Doesn't matter where I am in the venue...as long as I am inside somewhere!

Anyone else thinking that their next album is titled "Countdown" instead of the supposed "Tides"?
the FINAL countdown?? is this their last album??? PEARL JAM IS BREAKING UP?!?!?!?
No they are not breaking up but, after thinking about what you said, and after much anguish from the countdown, and now a new countdown, then you suggested the Final Countdown, I think we just figured it out: Europe will be the opening band! They are just going to play "Final Countdown" for an hour and then get off the stage. FUCK YA today was productive.
Would love, I mean LOVE to see Yeah Yeah Yeah's or Beck open for PJ on the West Coast this Fall. But with my luck it'll be Ted Leo & The Pharmacists again.
An added Seattle show on Saturday would be sweet!!

Just imagine this beauty before every show on the new tour. It would be the greatest sound your ears would EVER hear.
Damn 2013 is turning out to be a GREAT PJ year!! Catching them on the 19th in Wrigley and now will get to see them in Dallas or OK City also!! Taking my wife to her first PJ concert at Wrigley, then Im going to take my son who will be 12 to the Nov 15 or 16th show's, he freaked out when I told him, he gets to see PJ with me THIS YEAR, I have never seen him run around and scream so loud! WOOOOHOOOO.
This is what I've been saving for!! And hoping for!! And the icing on the birthday cake....PEARL JAM IS PLAYING CLOSEST TO WHERE ILL BE (Baltimore) ON MY 21ST BIRTHDAY!!! I NEED to be front row for this one!! Oh my, I can't wait!!
P.S. You're all invited to buy me a birthday drink at the show (just kidding)

Springsteen has been doing this for as long as I can recall... makes the vibe and electricity in the building even more amazing as the 7:30 start time streches past 8:00 and gives the band an extra 30-60+ minutes on stage.

my money would be on the Gaslight Anthem as a possible opener...
Yay! No Pearl Jam in south/central Florida again since 2008. Thanks for saving me the money from buying a pair of tickets since the closest city we can travel to would be in North Carolina or Louisiana.
I'll just sit home and enjoy the shows, listening to all my bootlegs

What happened to the band that went to court against overprized tickets?
Very disappointed !!!!
