    Yes that is my comment and based on past terror suspects that probably is what will happen, correct? Fellow human? After what he did he is far from a fellow human. When their is video proof, and he is running from law enforcement and shooting at them, it's pretty safe to say he is guilty. I'm glad they got him alive so they can hopefully get info out of him, is anyone else involved and why he did it.

    well no shit they didn't have the guns legally. massachusetts has very tough gun laws, maybe those gun laws turned them away.

    here 's a sample of mass gun laws....no criminal or terrorist is going to do this to get a gun legally since what they're going to do is illegal:

    MASSACHUSETTS: The law here requires fingerprinting, safety training, background checks, and law enforcement involvement before a gun buyer can obtain a permit to own a firearm.

    what else do you want the state to do ? a criminal will get a gun...especially a damn criminal who's going to make bombs out of pressure cookers. so all those background checks you speak of are already being done in massachusetts. mass has the 3rd strictest gun laws in the u.s. i live in the state that as the 2nd strictest gun laws in the country.

    Purchasing a gun in OH is not difficult. Fill out paperwork for quick background check. As long as you have no criminal history you can get a gun. You can only purchase 1 hand gun within 1 week time, but there is no limit for rifles (even AR and AK styles). As long as you answer the questions "correctly" with no criminal history you're good. There has to be little bit more scrutiny than that IMO. Psychological background check, safety training or documentation that you know how to use a gun responsibly, etc
