^^^^ That’s awesome Lou! I might have heard this story before, and I’m sure it was wicked, but were you a little disappointed they didn’t do Man in the Box or Battle of New Orleans?
At least you got the killer Stompin’ Tom, Clapton, Bee Gees and Chantays covers. 👍

They did a few encores not on setlist. I think they played running the gauntlet, box and closed with Battle. I know they tried to do holy diver but couldn't pull it off. It was a blast! Forgive me if I repeat myself...tiny hotel show. Stewart Copeland and John Popper showed up the next night, I wasn't there. We had Puddles the Clown and Danny Clinch though!
That 'Cocaine' song is a Johnny Cash cover I think. It wasn't that clapton song but that would be interesting to hear.

Cool story and awesome memento of the evening. I’d be repeating myself as well lol. All good.

JJ Cale is Cocaine (Clapton is a cover of this) Johnny Cash would be Cocaine Blues (so may be this but mislabeled)
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
How does this sound? I’m so reluctant to get this because of all the negative reviews. But apparently, the latest represses from MPO (in runout) are better. Such a crapshoot.

I love this album. To me it sounds great. But I don’t have audiophile ears, and just a fairly basic stereo system - so you might not want to go by my opinion. I am just starting to learn about vinyl and different pressings, etc. Mine does say MPO in the runout though.

Thanks, GG.
It’s my favorite album of all time. It deserves perfection because it is perfection.
It sounds like there aren’t too many of the bad pressings left in the wild, so maybe I’ll go ahead and add it to my next vinyl order and hope for the best.
