37-year-old me loved the setlist; 20-year-old me was having an aneurysm. I love the Pumpkins, but I'm also a major Jimmy Chamberlin fanboy. I'd seen the Pumpkins with him, but I've also seen them without him - and if you've never seen him live it's worth whatever you pay just to watch him drum on "Siva." (Iha's stage banter's fantastic, too.) Also, and I can't believe I'm saying this, "Solara" was one of the highlights of the entire night; I didn't love it on the radio, but it's a monster live.
Solara does sound much better live, from the footage I've seen.  I mean, it's fairly basic chugging powerchord stuff but the production on the studio version definitely doesn't do it any favours.

Recent US setlists look amazing. Hope more UK shows are announced

He does a nightly Q&A on his Instagram and last night he confirmed that there would be no other UK dates. :-/

My buddy and I both thought so as well.  Neither of us really cared for the studio version but we both agree it was pretty damn good live!

Solara was cool - I’d be down for an album of music like that

Machina reissue is coming per Instagram chat last night. BC claims to have 'signed the paperwork' making it official with details to come. Looking forward to how Machina I and II get looked at with this set.

Their Seattle show is being live streamed tonight. I wish I could be there instead but I already made the six-hour concert trek to Seattle this summer (16 days ago!). Watching it on line will have to suffice - and we'll likely get a high quality bootleg out of the show.

Sweet!!! Machina II, what I have jut sounds absolutely horrible.  I can't even remember where I got it. I always wanted to listen to that album in better quality. Either way, Machina I is a great album, looking forward to that on vinyl....

Sweet, I will be dancing away on the floor, but hopefully this will mean I can find it somewhere as a nice little keepsake for later...
Well we've been a good few hours drinking
So I'm going to say what everyone's thinking
If we're stuck on this ship and it's sinking
Then we might as well have a parade

I'm a big fan of SP (at least the 90s stuff) but am I the only one who finds the whole stage show of this reunion tour a little .... overdone?

Listened to the opening night show and it was great.  Solid setlist and the band sounds incredible!  His voice will never be 1996 again, but neither will my physique.  Looking forward to Chicago I on 8/13

Care to point me towards where you are listening to it? Would love to relive the show.
Sorry, didn't return to this thread for a while. Lots of tapes on the Live Music Archive (archive.org).

Found: Soundgarden Hyde Park DVD (Thank you for the gift!)

Do you have the other reissues? If not, I strongly suggest picking up the multi disc set of The Aeroplane Flies High and Adore. Amazing amazing stuff on those sets

Oh yeah, I got them all. CD and vinyl (except the MCIS cd. Too expensive and I hated how they went with a different box format)

True but 1991-1996 was palatable. Things got a bit weird once BC started putting on all the makeup and started wearing ....dresses?

True. But he's been doing this way longer than doing it that way.
