I don't know personally, I've never been to the venue. But someone on this board, can't remember who, said that the 10C ticket people had their own area.

but we do get in 15mins earlier than GA and i believe there is a pit of sorts... its just not for our sole use :)

It sounds really dangerous if there are metal bars! I'm either at the front or nowhere near in that case  I don't wanna be up against metal bars.

Well who said we had our own area then? Someone did

For people who know the venue:
at the SF shows, it seems 10c had a separate entrance on the other side of the building.
is that possible at The Point?

for fuck sake - there IS a pit - there's always a pit. Who gives a fuck if it's solely 10c or not

? what do you think you're against at the front? yep, metal bars.

It's actually much safer to have it like this as it breaks the mass.
And it means you can have the comfort of support (and breathing space) even if not at the front.

but, hey, if you prefer to be at the back, your choice, more space for us ;)

There is usually a pit at the point but there are also sometimes barriers placed at different areas throughout the standing area to prevent crushing, ever since a girl died at the point at a smashing pumpkins gig

EDIT: Sorry smilie removed....didn't realise it till you pointed it out :(

I've only ever seen a second barrier at one show and that was at Oasis in Sheffield years ago. The second barrier got pushed over cos the back section was so full and the front was empty.

BUT....if people who have been there before say there's a pit then I believe them.

As long as I can see the stage, I'm not too bothered....my days of going down the front at gigs are long since behind me.

....now where did i put those pipe and slippers

Maybe U2 will be returning the favour for Hawaii?????????
  • U2 playing a place that holds 8500, that would be all right. I don't know if Bono would be ok playing on a stage that small. Might hurt his ego.

God no...please no U2. I will settle for anything other than them.
I entertained the wonderful thought that Audioslave would open for them. We all know that would be incredible...I really did have to stop myself from dreaming about it incase I started to expect it.

But i'm still gunning for SLEATER KINNEY!!! C'mon girls!!! :D
