which is pretty cool as it could mean a longer set from PJ... it could also mean that they havent found someone yet.... it could also mean i am too impatient these days and cant simply wait until the 23rd August to find out who it is??

Is there a band called The Underwired... they'd be a good support :o
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I'm pretty positive there will be support for the Dublin show. I'd be shocked if there wasn't for a larger-type venue like the Point.

They meet them on September 4th, unfortunately they are playing Manchester, UK on 8-23, so doesn't loook like a possibility.

Looking at the tickets this morning, they don't actually say there is a support.

usually tickets state either plus support or special guest but it just says Pearl Jam.

I reckon it could well be PJ taking to the stage at 8 for a good 2 and a half hour show :-)

They played almost a full 3 hours in Cleveland, and that was with a support act, if they are alone, it will be a storybook setlist, maybe a complete acoustic set followed promptly a three hour set...?? here's for hope...

I've got my little theory about the support in Dublin :)
Not telling because I'd be laughed at but I think possibly some 'unknown' band might join ;)

I think you theory has some legs.P.J may have said to them :"We open for you in Hawaii, you open for us in your own town"

exactly, it would be an almost perfect symmetry..and I checked, they're in between tour legs at the time, so they'll be home ;)
If nothing else, B is almost certain to make an appearance...but as opening band, maybe doing the early more rock stuff... I can dream, but it is possible.
But obviously they can't actually say it...Ebay prices are crazy enough as it is!
