    I can't show my vinyl collection. :(

I find it too revealing and personal.

Only been a vinyl junkie for about 18 months. There's a few more LP's that won't fit on the shelving.

Nice collection. The UB40 album throws me off. That is super funny. How or why did that sneak in?

Ha! Well, I can answer this easily and honestly....um....I like early UB40! Have you heard this album?? It's really good! Ok they got a bit naff after this release with their radio-friendly sound and a certain amount of cheese, but this Best Of is great all the way through, plus I really like reggae. Are you telling me this is not a great song/band?! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58ZiayUPn_Y ;)

I have mucho reggae ... UB40 is not reggae in my mind. I can't ever hear "red red wine" again. I want to bash my head into my computer desk. Matisyahu is reggae for me.

I can get old skool if you want but if you haven't heard this. Check it out?
    (maybe it's my inner Jew?)

Had to edit this and put a cover of my favorite song. I love it when Pearl Jam covers it...
    Maybe watch this first?
    Get to know the dude?

He looks really confused in this video. Bradley from Sublime covered it best. Still my favorite besides Yellow Ledbetter.

Live at Stubbs .. that's in H-town. My city.

This beat box blew my mind... this is why I LOVE him

Any man that can beat box like that... gets ladies..

I fell asleep at a UB40 show. Matisyahu made me want to buy more tickets.

Checked out your man there, he's not bad, the music's a bit generic sounding for my taste. UB40 are originators and I'm a sucker for a band with a decent horn section, but each to there own eh. ;)

Love the records i got. My parents recently gave me their Tannoys from 1978. They are upstairs in my kitchen and I bought a pair of Klipsch speakers five months ago in the basement. Both sound really good.

I've been looking for a nice sturdy record case for awhile. I didn't want just a bookshelf and don't have an ikea near me for the cube. Got a little "lifted" yesterday and thought it would be a good idea to turn our old dresser into a media center I think it looks damn good and protects the records from our bad puppies and keeps them cozy.

    Not bad huh?

Damn that's a nice setup....I need to upgrade my equipment since I bought some starter stuff a little over a year ago when I started collecting.

What kind of equip do you have? I'm looking for some ideas.

How did you get the record mat? They are sooo hard to find. I'll bring my own headphones...

I keep all my vinyl on the highest shelves. I don't put anything on the bottom. Flooding, Animals, kids, bugs, etc.

You should flip that order. put the cd's on the bottom and the vinyl on top. You never know.
