So a lot of people here have met each other at shows or other events. Thought it would be cool to hear stories from everyone about what their favorite experience was when meeting/hanging out with someone else from here. :D

The September 30, 2012 Missoula show was my first (and so far, only) PJ show. That weekend I met several forum members at the KOA and the show itself. To a person, I very much enjoyed meeting and hanging out with everyone I met. The time just flew by but the memories are long lasting! A great time with a super great bunch of people! :D

PJ20....no doubt about it. the roadtrip with one of my best friends (& bandmate) & our wives; staying at the Super 8 & meeting so many people throughout the weekend....too many great people to name. It was the best musical weekend of my life & something that I'll never forget!

2nd place: getting to know & become close friends with all of the Dallas area PJ folks. Seeing Robley dance, watching Dan try to drive ( :fp: ), enjoying beers with Brian & seeing Mike laugh at all of us.:lol:

I need to meet more of you folks in person.
  • Last weekend was pretty memorable 8-) :P
  • Other than that ... My very first time meeting tenclubbers was pretty cool too. The trip to PJ20 was my very first America experience, and also the first time I traveled totally on my own. After a horrendous long trip inclusing spending a night on an aiport bench in Stockholm, I arrived on September 3rd at the hot-as-hell Chicago airport, where theserialthrilla, chime, IrishAl and Blackdiamond picked me up. Except for chime, I hadn't met anybody in person before. I think thrilla was the first one that I saw, I recognised his face from facebook :D Then suddenly we were all sitting in a car and it was actually happening! I was super excited and had a hard time following what people said because I stared out of the windows and tried to suck it all in, and I was dead tired. We went to the Wisconsin state sign and took some pics there and then went to the Super 8, where I was meeting Dimi, my PJ20 roommate, and Haroula, my ticket buddy. I took one hour off to sleep and then we went to the preparty. It was a weird experience meeting a lot of the people that I have talked to so many times on the forum without actually meeting them in person, but it was great!
I didn't stay long, because I was still so tired and wanted to be fit for the next day, but I amongst many other really nice people I got to meet Cav there. Well, now we are happily married and I am in the process of becoming a permanent resident of the States.
The whole two concert days were like a blur of blissful experiences. I met so many people that I know from here or from fb, sometimes we would just scream across the grass and then hug. I loved it.
Thanks again to Speedy who just like a Dad delivered me to my Chicago home after the weekend and made sure the people were alright  :D

Dang, PJ20 was a truly mindblowing experience for me!

I cannot wait for July to meet the Chicago crew
