Australia and NZ tour rumours going around Part 2 (No Bullshit)

ZiggyStar wrote:I, too, was concerned about this. I emailed 10c saying that the name on the credit card I am planning on using is different to the membership name as I was using my boyfriend's credit card. I got a reply saying that it will be still processed the same -- just as long as the person whose name is on the membership collects the tickets.
However, a few years ago I used my boyfriend's credit card to purchase 10c membership and we got a call from his bank about 30 mins later saying that **insert my name** had purchased a "Ten Club Membership** with his card. My boyfriend said he knew all about it and they were totally cool. They were just checking for security reasons. I think they still processed it -- but rang us to verify.
For this reason, we have decided to use my credit card this time -- but 10c said there WOULD NOT be a problem with processing ticket sales if the credit card name is different to the membership name. I'm sure they realise that people use their partners/husbands/parents cards to purchase tickets. So you should be fine!0 -
Not long now ladies and gents
this is gonna be a great weekendhe who forgets will be destined to remember0 -
ZiggyStar wrote:Sorry, jl10....when I read your question I thought you were concered about the name on the credit card differing from the membership name. But now I've read it again, I have totally answered the wrong question.

Excellent, thank you everyone, for your reassurances! I feel much better now.
Just another quick question. When I logged into the goods section to check everything out, under my shipping address it had this part where I could enter a 'custom' address. I didn't do this. Should I have and what does it mean? I am confident everything in regards to my tickets will be fine, just curious as to what this was.
Oh, and tigress, if you want, you can add me to your list as going to Melb. and Adelaide shows. Thanks so much.0 -

No, that's fine, I was asking that kind of! I read over it a couple of times before posting, thinking, wow, I don't think I am making any sense, I hope they know what I'm talking about! But your reply did help, so thanks heaps.0 -
WOO HOO!!! Big Brother Up Late is on soon and I'm winning the the $1,000 price for the easy-as-piss quiz thing they have on it....I think they may have a couple of $1,000 prizes. If I win, I'm going to Adelaide...or Perth?
Would I get better fan club tickets in Adelaide or Perth? What are the two venues like?★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★

What a day!!!!
Started off by going down to see Mark Richards so that I could get him to sign the email he sent (for verification) This man is an absolute legend!!! He was telling me that he spoke to Pearl Jam's tour manager about a Newcastle show and that he spoke to Ed 3 weeks ago and Ed thought that they were playing here. MR tells me that Ed doesn't really know what's going on with tour dates most of the time, he just goes wherever the bus/plane goes
After that, me and my mate went around to local businesses and dropped in petitions for customers to sign and then we went to the local Austereo radio station in Newcastle and spoke to the promotions manager. The promotions manager was very excited about our proposition and told us that she would definately raise the issue at the managerial meeting on Monday.
After we got home, we phoned the Newcastle Herald and they agreed to run a story in Monday's paper, and if the online petition reached 450 then they'd do a special feature on our campaign!!
Just thought I'd keep you guys up to date0 -

Has anyone been to a concert where they've had 3 (or more) people squeeze into the space of 2 people?
If the second Brissy concert has 10c tix, I am going to use my membership to get my two tix (for Leigh and myself) and my sister's tix to get my little niece (who's 15 and a half) to come along...however none of her friends like PJ. (As you can see, I've trained her well obviously -- good taste!!) I was my niece's age when I first saw PJ in 1995 so I REALLY would love for her to come and experience her first big concert with me.
However, she has no friends who want to go...and she's really small (has like a 12 year old's body). Would you mind if you were standing up and the two people next to you had a SMALL 15 year old standing up in front of them ie 3 people in the space of two? She could easily fit in. Her mum said she'd go (and her mum's only 36) but she reallllly would prefer to come only with me and Leigh....because her Auntie Sus is cool !
But I don't know if 10c members near me would be cool -- or would be telling security "WE HAVE THREE PEOPLE HERE!!!"★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★

I would prefer a 10c only concert in Newcastle -- (but every member can take one person -- like all concerts. I want my boy to come too!!!)
