F .500 - just like last season it's definitely no milestone. Pedal to metal, foot to throat, so on and so forth.

Gotta beat the bad teams more handily than that, especially when Atlandta and DC are going at it.

And, again....there's Ryan Howard.....aaaaaannnnnnd then there's Chase Utley.

Revere's catch could be play of the year. There won't be much better than that. If I was gay, maybe Chase. Maybe. If Bastardo was unavailable, why not Adams to start the 8th inning?
    Alright, alright, alright!

I guess when you really look at it, Horst wasn't too bad yesterday. He gave up a really good bunt single and a bloop hit. Where did the bats go? "you no help me now, I say fuck you Jobu!"

Yeah, no doubt. as seen by a batting average against of .108 against lefties last year. I'd piss myself.

Cliffy -rolled up to Standard Tap, but no TV's? Looked cool, but needed the Masters. Walked to Liberties. Off to the Crowes!

Standard Tap could be my favorite bar in the city. I fucking love that place. I don't care if there aren't TVs...esp during the amaro era

should have happened after the 2011 playoff debacle. I will never forget watching cliff lee and his $100 contract warming up in the pen during game 5...after seeing turdwalt get shelled in game 4.

Revere made a great play, but that dude blows.

As for the Utley comment...yeah, I agree. Just when I don't think i couldn't like a dude more, this comes out. old, but in case anyone missed it...must read.

horst is good. he got fucked last night. laynce nix sucks my balls. and I would bet money that that turd sports affliction gear once he takes his post game shower.

schierholtz might be the best defensive corner OF in all of MLB (and he's a better hitter than nix). schierholtz catches that ball standing up. why amaro cut him is still beyond me. worst GM of all time. I'd rather have lee thomas

biggest shock was that it took as many as 4 pitches

howard is so fat...so stiff...so overpaid...and so shitty

he sums up all that's wrong with the amaro era. like I said when he signed that deal...it was (now is) the beginning of the end of this team's success.

    fuck you amaro

I'm gonna give it to the all-star break before I rush to the judgement that this team is screwed for at least the next five years. Because this has the look of a team that is screwed for the next five years. Hamels is good but he's playing like shit. Lee and Utley are good but they're old. AND NOBODY ELSE IS THAT GOOD. Well it was a heck of a run for Charlie (and Amaro as well to some extent). But their time is running out.

not a good start for sure but it's only 15 games. still think this team is much better than last year's version. i still look for them to win in the 88 game range.

same here. i told my wife after the first inning that this game was already more exciting than saturday's. toss in the fact that it felt like it was in the 20's and i was totally not prepared...just not an enjoyable evening on saturday...except for the trip to tony lukes on the way down. ;)

nice to get the split last night.....was chase high?
