Kash is on his way to UT...maybe they are getting ready to arrest the guy and Patel wants a photo op.

Trying to reverse that embarrassment of saying they already had him, etc.

Really? What is he going to offer the investigation? A magnifying glass and a trench coat?

FBI Director Kash Patel is on his way to Utah to assist with the investigation into Charlie Kirk’s assassination, a source familiar with the matter tells CNN.

Some odd behaviour going on behind Charlie by white shirt/hat dude and black shirt/tatted dude. Anyone talking to them or know who they are and what their roles were? Maybe PI Ca$h can answer the questions?

I mean…… he has a wife and two small children. He was 31 years old. Do you believe in the death penalty?

The disgust and sympathy comes from a place of is this where we’re at? Murdering anyone who has a differing opinion? No matter how bad?

You don't have to feel empathy for those who have themselves shown to have none.

But weird far right loon-hill to have that fight on.

Because he was a human with 2 small kids?
People cheered on people who murder police. Protestors blocked an ambulance that was taking 2 shot police officers to the hospital in protest. That’s pretty sick behavior. Should they be all shot in the neck or head too?

How much empathy have you shown to e.g. Bin Ladins kids? He had even more than two. Just tell me, how much since 2011?

When Obama said "we got him" or whatever, how much thought went to his kids with all of the sympathy and empathy you have for everyone and their children?

Or use some other example than Bin Ladin, if you haven't been watching Zero Dark Thirty lately.

I wonder if trump will point out that Utah's governor and the mayor of Orem are both GOP. That seems to be really important to him when a crime is committed.
obviously you know he won't. We'll hear about the "radical left wing democrats" about 4 thousand times over the next 48 hours.
MSNBC mentioned it "might" have been an excited fan shooting in celebration at the event.  I guess the career criminal killing a Ukranian lady was a radical right wing ? Edit that!
Msnbc didn't mention that... Someone on Msnbc did.
I didn’t respond earlier because I assumed it was a guest from this comment. It was an employee and he was fired. The on-air employee represents the station, that’s why he was fired. So it would be accurate to say msnbc said that.

"wishing harm/death on" and "not having empathy for" are not at the same spot on the spectrum.

I wasn’t aware that Kirk was an international terrorist responsible for starting wars and killing thousands of innocent civilians. Do you have a link to that? I’d be interested in learning more.

but now you're assigning a slope to when murder is appropriate and when it's not. either it's wrong or it's not. you just think you are at the correct spot at the slope, and now maligning someone else for being on a different spot on that slope.

Other than the act of murder unequivocally being wrong, its ok to have complex thoughts and feelings on this news.

Exactly, suddenly the children and wifes doesn't matter anymore. Only when it's a far right racist spewing hatred and de facto nazi propaganda who got shot. Then it's all about the empathy. Maybe it's the colour of the skin of the wifes and children that does it? Who knows.

I just don’t have sympathy for racist hateful people that dedicate their lives to advocating against disadvantaged and marginalized people and saying things like they would force their daughter to carry a rape pregnancy to term. There are some people that I just lack sympathy for.

I don’t believe in the death penalty and I don’t believe in killing people that don’t agree with you. The guy was a piece of shit. He wasn’t ever trying to have good faith conversations and was actively trying to make the lives of others worse. I mean I’m not celebrating this, I just think the guy was a pile of crap.

the whole expecting sympathy for a truly vile person reminds me of when people say things like well if you are so tolerant why are you intolerant of nazis and racists etc. Disingenuous virtue signaling in bad faith.
