    Thank you for sharing. I miss having a leader that could speak so eloquently. GW Bush and Obama both had the ability to speak coherently and at times with the conviction of a true leader. What we have had in place since....yikes!

    I'm surprised in the USA anybody does public events without a screen nowadays. 
    With guns readily available and no shortage of people with a need to use them. 
    We must be coming to a time when it's not worth doing public events without protecting against shooters as much as possible.

    According to a quick google search I did, that is not true, he never said that.
    He did say "you do not...." and not "black women do not...." There is a massive difference between those two. He was talking about a few specific people like Joy Reid and not an entire racial group. I think he was also possibly referring to Michelle Obama. While I don't agree with him, it's still not the same thing and I still think important to not misquote people on such a large level.

    I can't listen to the quote, X is blocked on my work computer. But when I googled it and read the quote, I saw 3 women that he gave examples of. I don't like Joy Reid, and her trademark is to fan the flames even when there aren't any. She's like the Tucker of the left. But I already said I don't agree with applying that same thing to Michelle Obama. That being said, giving 3 examples does not mean all black women. 
    He was quoted as saying 'Black women do not have brain processing power" when he never said that. Now pointing out what he actually said, and that he was referring to a few select women is considered moving the goal posts is kind of mind boggling. You moved the goals. He never said what was quoted. Period. End of story. He never said that.
    You may not like what he actually did say, and you're trying to equate that to what you thought he said. But that is, in fact, the definition of moving the goal posts.

    I've seen many similar quotes doing the same thing. Not here, but all over social media. People claiming he said black people don't have the capacity to fly planes. But when you look it up, he was criticizing an airline's (I think United) policy to make 50% of new hires minorities, when 50% of the applicants are not minorities. And by doing so, you will inevitably bypass more qualified staff and pilots because they are white. And I 100% agree with that. If you make such a huge percentage that doesn't even come close to matching the applicant pool, you are going to be hiring lesser qualified people. That in no way does not mean that there are not many qualified minorities out there. 
    Here, he was quoted by saying all black women when he was just criticizing a few.
