I don't think a vinyl re-released has officially been announced anywhere. All the talk of a deluxe edition was about a cd/dvd release.
There was almost a Mad Season release on vinyl a few years back and it kept getting delayed (one post mention that they still needed final approval from the band). I assumed it never came out because of this release, and that the band wanted to do it themselves (rather than have music on vinyl put it out).
but yah.. there's been no word on a vinyl release yet.. you would hope they would do one though.0 -

There's been many stores offering preorders almost a year or so ago, then taking them down.
The past few day's though this new one showed up over @ Music Direct.

Mad Season Above on Limited Edition 180g Import LP
1995's Above is the lone album from the Seattle supergroup Mad Season featuring vocalist Layne Staley (Alice In Chains), guitarist Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), bassist John Baker Saunders, and drummer Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees). Screaming Trees vocalist Mark Lanegan and saxophonist Nalgas Sin Carne also make appearances here as well.
Staley's haunting sincerity is supported masterfully by the group's beautiful melodies and inviting hooks throughout the 10-song set which offers fans just enough of what they have come to love about the members' respective groups to go along with something altogether different.
Recorded at Bad Animals Studio in Seattle, WA with producer Brett Eliason, Above was certified gold on the strength of the popular singles "River of Deceit," "I Don't Know Anything" and "Long Gone Day." Limited edition 180g vinyl reissue from Music On Vinyl.

I wouldn't order from that one, Demetrios. It says from MOV, that was the one I ordered from What Records and Tim pretty much said there's no progress on that (or Singles). Or had been no progress. He offered to refund me.
At this stage there's gotta be an official reissue, right?0 -
It would be great to get some kind of confirmation, one way or the other. And so you see, I have come to doubt

I'd be up for a bluray option, but most live music videos were filmed on videotape (which means there's no possibility of creating an HD master in which to make a bluray with).
The performance would need to have been captured on film (32mm would be ideal. 16mm is pretty grainy). It really is too bad more classic performances weren't put on film. I love watching Zeppelin's the song remains the same. It looks so epic watching classic Zeppelin in a very high quality film kind of way

Almost bought, but I am holding off. I want to know exactly what the package entails before I spend the money, it's a pretty high price. Really hoping the dvd is the Moore theater show, and not just rehearsal/ studio footage only. . April is a long ways away too. 8-)
Edit: Bought! Live at the moore dvd- fuck yeah!

as I can seen 10C made a mistake. Should have said a magic word: LIMITED

I ain't preordering until more details are released by the 10C.
Of course, the last time I did that was for PJ20 Deluxe. And we all know how that ended up. I get the feeling this won't be "limited" or "exclusive", but how are we supposed to know these days?0 -

this was another reason I'm on the fence. I want this bad, but need more details on what it all contains in the package, before I spend about $ 32 for it. I am including shipping in that price tag. Figure it's about $7 more dollars.Post edited by red mos onPJ: 10/14/00 06/09/03 10/4/09 11/15/13 11/16/13 10/08/14
