I have walked by and there is something in the microwave cooking, the person put it in there, started it up and walked away.

Exactly what you shouldn't do. This isn't YOUR home, buddy... burn shit on your own time.

:fp: :nono: I'd give you an earful if you did that to me. Those things have a timer for a reason. I'm not going to stand there and stare at my soup turning in the microwave for 3 minutes and 20 seconds when I could go and write a quick email or two and then come back and get my soup when it's ready (luckily I'm not an idiot who forgets about her food in the communal microwave).

It might explode and get all over the microwave

    How inconsiderate. :nono:

If you have to send emails while making your 3 minute lunch...you may need to loosen up your schedule.

Only an asshole doesn't cover their food to make sure that doesn't happen.

kindly turn the volume down on your phone's ringer. I don't need to experience a sound lobotomy every time someone calls you. again, you are only 12" from me.

Tips for surviving in office environment:
Get enough sleep the night before!!

Yesterday was HELL at work after my goddam housemate had woken me up at 4:30am when he was in the bathroom which is right next to my bedroom. I didn't last the whole day. Ran away just after lunch back home to a quiet bed for some catch up sleep. WhoTF gets up at 4:30am to go to work anyway?!?!?(I know, heaps of people do but YTF did he!!?!)
