How many fucking tweets and Facebook updates do these people have to read to me? I barely care about what my own friends have to say, much less Peggy in Tulsa who "voted y'all". Every time I switch over, that's all they're doing. I don't have a problem with social media, but the actual media is running this into the ground. I'm just trying to see results, and all I'm getting is somebody standing around reading tweets.

romney is leading popular vote ... is that normal at this time? ... based on which states report first?
I would say it probably doesn't mean much at this time, based on which states have reported. Nothing West of Texas has reported, so California can change a lot.

According to CNN, 100 percent of Virginia's Prince Edward County (rural and African American in the eastern part of the state) is reporting and Obama won 56-43. That actually represents an improvement over Obama's 54-45 victory in 2008. Not a good sign for Romney.

You are aware that Virginia has stopped counting for the time being due to long lines?

According to the election map I'm looking at, Romney is leading Virginia by about 9% with 44% reporting. Maybe they didn't get that particular update. I'm guessing these areas reporting are the ones that didn't have the lines and stuff.
