    That happened to us with Irene and we never lost power...I hope neither of us loses power for good because it might take a while for it to come back on :? In any case...might I suggest wine? :D

    My baby (22) in Brooklyn is a few blocks away from evac. zone C, but says she has power, no flooding on her street. It is getting pretty windy in upstate here. Not sure what's happening in Albany where the other one is at college, but it is a good college, they will take care of her.
