Beavis : Is this Pearl Jam?
Butt-head: This guy makes faces like Eddie Vedder.
Beavis: No, Eddie Vedder makes faces like this guy.
Butt-head: I heard these guys, like, came first and Pearl Jam ripped them off.
Beavis: No, Pearl Jam came first.
    Butt-head: Well, they both suck.

People of Holland...after Wembley, I'm very tempted to come to another European show at the last minute.

I can get tickets for the show from ticketmaster.nl, so that's all good, and I can get return flights from Liverpool airport which is ideal for me with work.

My only doubts are getting from Amsterdam (is this the best airport?) to Goeffert Park. I'm planning to catch a 9am flight back the following day - probably won't bother with a hotel or anything, just go straight from the gig to the city centre, wander round for a bit then head off to the airport.

I'd really appreciate a native's view on my transport options to/from the airport, and to/from the venue.

Many thanks in advance, I hope to see some of you there if I go!

If it's anything like it was today they better have fire hoses to cool us down..

Has anybody seen any number of tickets sold?

I've been listening to KoL lately and must say they have some really cool songs too, it's certainly an acquired taste.

KOL are very good, I've been told that they do kick ass shows. I'm actually looking forward to that... :)

I'll be happy Soft or Taper Girl Jean and let myself be surprised with the rest of their set. Good to know they have a good live reputation :) but that shouldn't be a big surprise if PJ wants you to open for them.

I've seen Incubus before and they can put out a very strong and varied festival set, so unlike most here (my impression) I actually also look forward to seeing them play.

I'm also very curious what to hear PJ play in Nijmegen after the setlists of this tour.. London and Munich were fanlists while Lisbon was more a biggest hits thing..

You can take a train back at 6.13, dunno Nijmegen but I don't expect much nite life so it might be a long nite.. The train should take you in less than 2 hours to your destination, all sounds doable. Amsterdam is the biggest airport and has a train station under it (=no hustle with trams/subways) but others are pretty much in the same reach. Go for it!

Thanks, I've just found a useful train site that's told me pretty much everything I need to know.

Last train is at 1.09am, first one the following day is 5.35am, plenty of time to get to the airport for check in etc.

Both those bands, KoL and Incubus , their last albums are very good indeed. Specially KoL, that album is definitely my favourite of the year so far! I'm hoping on a special setlist for Nijmegen, as it's the last proper full-set show of the tour...
To be honest i didn't find London list THAT good, i was expecting at least a Who cover...

Is anybody else staying at City Park Hotel? If plans go as planned I’ll be in the night before and ready to party upon arrival. Coffee house than pub, who’s in? where? what time?

I'm driving from Antwerp to Nijmegen and I was wondering if the venue is easy to find since I will be driving and looking on the map at the same time :)

And does anybody know where the car parcs are at? And how much do they ask to park your car there?
