Just watched some weather predictions from software of my former work.

Looks like the weather will be warmer than last week (so, above 20-24 degrees Celcius) with less/no rain. Again, these are just forecasts, so we'll never know exactly, but it's proven not to be wrong often.

at last, Parel Jam says smth positive about the weather! That's the spirit! Thanx for the good news, let's hope u r right! And don't say "maybe"! :)

Can any one give me the run down on what we can/can't take in with us. Can I take in a backpack with food, water bottles (plastic of course), camera etc. The only info I find is always in Dutch, which I can't read. Well not correctly anyway.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Almost down to two weeks to go!!!

I doubt you can take plastic bottles with you, only small cartons, the ticket says: no alcohol, drugs, plastic or glass bottles, cans, fireworks, wmd's, sombrero's etc.

About the weather, it's grey and rainy now so lets hope that in 2 weeks it'll be better. It's still quite warm and humid tho..

can someone please help me with this site:http://www.goffertpark-nijmegen.nl/ ??

there's nothing in english there so I can't really understand where the show is actually going to happen... is this picture is the right location? (I assume all of the people are the crowd, but if so, wheres the stage? i only see a river or a water pond of some kind, I'm kind of lost :)) http://www.goffertpark-nijmegen.nl/pics/openluchtheater/kleur.jpg

Just stuff about the park (being an ecological zone with other natural areas and stuff like that). There is also a soccer stadium located in de Goffert. What else do you want to know?

In summary: the Goffert is just a huge park where Pearl Jam will play. When you are in Nijmegen, you will find the way to the show...

dont worry so much. everything will be guided once you get of the train or even get close to nijmegen where to go. And the grounds are like a festival site.. 1 stage, big grass and food/drinks on the side..
u'll be fine. we'll take care of you

I've got one of those etickets and unfortunately the amount of information is pretty limited (i.e it doesn't say anything about what is allowed in).

Will cameras be allowed? I know they normally are at PJ gigs, but sometimes venues have their own specific rules.

    cheers

I read somewhere that if you wanna bring a camera it's a good idea to bring a copy of the rules on the PJ site about camera's etc, just in case security isnt up to date.

hmm so i'm guessing we should all bring raincoats...?

I hope this forecast isn't accurate though, would'nt mind it being cold but rain could suck, everything will get muddy.
On the other hand, when pearl jam will be on stage I probably wouldn't care about the weather. :)

    oh well... let it rain!
