I´m not sure what´s worse - someone´s pee running down my leg or someone next to me pogo-ing all the time ... guess i´m just too old for any "crowd-sports" besides nodding and an occasional bounce of excitement ... :)

When do you think someone is 'old'?
I rather have someone pogo-ing next to me.....

Don't worry, I will search for a toilet or bushes when I have to pee

i think there should be a warning issued, everybody get a picture of Disconnected, so we know who to avoid at the concert :D
Come on people, you gotta take a break if you need to wee-wee!

  • Does anyone think that PJ might do an acoustic set, like they have done a few times, before the support bands? That would rock and would work really well, because it is an alldayer.
Probably would have announced it if they were. Wishful thinking:)

Or Eddie's pre sets would be nice... Songs like I Am Mine or Thumbing My Way...

    Hey all,

I've got a question - hope you can help me.
my friends and I are staying in Amsterdam and would like to rent a car and drive to Nijmegen at the day of the show. is it doable? how much time will it take us to go from Amsterdam to Nijmegen by car (assuming everything will go as planned, no wrong turns etc.)?

    thanks!

It is doable, I'd say it's about a 2 hour drive.

Key is after the concert drive in any direction but the one everybody is going to, it's better to make a small detour than to get stuck in traffic for 2 hours.

And pearljamboy a acoustic set would be awesome, but a guest appearance here n there would be more likely, but I hope you are right :)

got space for two in that car of yours? my friend and i are staying in amsterdam in a hostel and would need a ride to the show and back. we'd chip in our share!
drifting around, figuring it out as i go along...

hey yieldjames, I wish I could help you, but my friends and I are a total of 5 persons... which means no extra space at all (maybe in the trunk :P)
but I have a couple more friends who are driving to the show, so I'll ask them....I'm pretty sure they'll be more than happy to help you and your friend.

you´re right. but still better than no bootleg at all!

btw, i was kidding when i wrote about the pogo-pee-pee stuff. luckily, i´m not too old to jump around in the crowd. it just depends on the music ..

to everyone with a small bladder - i´m with you. i love beer and i´m already wondering how it is going to work out - me, the crowd and the toilets :):)

So far I haven't seen any solid plans for a pre-party.. Are people gonna be in Nijmegen earlier? We'll be going by train so for sure we'll be in the center at some point. Is the train station near the center? I can't remember.. We need to get there (Goffertpark) by bus..

Oh and good luck with the graduating, I've just moved so mine hasnt had much progress...

Yesterday the Rolling Stones played in the Goffert Park in Nijmegen. I wasn't there, but what've heard was that there were lots of heavy rains with lots of thunder. Van Morrison was the support act and had to cancel his show half-way...

Well, let's hope for better weather during PJ :)

Just watched some weather predictions from software of my former work.

Looks like the weather will be warmer than last week (so, above 20-24 degrees Celcius) with less/no rain. Again, these are just forecasts, so we'll never know exactly, but it's proven not to be wrong often.
