just a couple of weeks ago, in prague - the first song was MFC, but i dont remember it at all ! the one that i do remeber, the second song was Last Exit. the feeling i get now every time i listen to it is just undescribable. amazing
The first song at my first pj concert was Release in Arnhem. It was such an intense feeling, I couldn't even sing along because I was shaking inside. Incredible....

What a wild show! As far as hearing my first PJ song live...wow, of course the heavens just parted open and I was fuckin HOME! Serioulsy life changing moment right here! The first time expericing this rush of adrenaline...the first dose of the drug that would soon rule my life! Wow. Beyond intense. I do remember it actually being pretty crazy though. We were all going completley and totally apeshit. I remember it was HOT as hell that day too. This was a GA show (as they were back then) and the entire crowd was bouncing up and down, as one GIANT force. It was WILD and rough up there in the pit! I think I was actually hovering above ground for most of this one.

Mine was Long Road in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
It was a dream. I couldn't believe that I was seeing Pearl Jam for the first time in my life.
The line "I have wished for so long..." was perfect for what I was feeling that night.
Let's say knowledge is a tree, yeah.
It's growing up just like me.
It was breakerfall (11/25/2005 -> 1st time they come here to Argentina) and I was shocked, so happy that you can't imagine how much... just full of life!
"Bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity... "
"go", this weekend at athens well in fact it was master/slave on the sound system first. that doesn't count really but it made feel like "oh my god, this is actually happening, the boys will be on this stage in a couple of seconds, the great wait is coming to an end!", and i thought "once" would be next actually. but when "go" kicked in i was like "this night's gonna be huuuuuugeeee !!!"

...I ever saw live with Pearl Jam - was 'Oceans' London oct. 28. 1996. Must say it´s a perfect opener, but the very next day there was another great opener 'Release' - but hey, all PJ songs are perfect openers in my mind... If there's an opener, there's a concert

my first song was 'sometimes'. i just stood there mesmorized by the whole thing. i couldnt comprehend what was going on around me. All these fans going crazy cos PJ were on stage. i must have looked like a statue.
' take 2 bottles into the shower?......not me, I've got no fucking hair!'
Worldwide suicide. i was expecting them to open with long road or release. all i remember is that barrage of feedback, and then the drums kicked in. euphoric.
die on a hilltop.. eyeing the crows,
waiting for your lids to close..
but you want to watch as they peck your flesh..
Ironic that they go for the eyes first
mine was betterman at cleveland 06, the band came out and Ed started playing and the crowd sang the opening verse without Ed's help. I've been to a ton of concerts and this opening was the best I've seen. Can't wait till they come around my area in the future.

First song I ever saw live was Inside Job, so that holds a special place in my heart, but I think Corduroy really did it for me (both at Dublin this year). Always liked corduroy, although it was never one of my favourites. It just hit me properly at Dublin. In fact, I'm gonna go listen to it right now.

I wish I could hear that song next time...
LBC would also be a perfect opener
