Yeah I've heard stories of Axl trying to get Slash and Duff back, I reckon because he knows the band won't be as successful without them. I've also heard that Slash was prepared to go back but I reckon that's not true, particularly after the way things ended with them.

Yeah I dunno about the situation of Duff touring with AIC. I mean Mike is still playing bass as far as I know, so it's an odd one

Reason I heard they didn't go for it was that Axl was asking them to sign away ALL rights....!! ffs!!

They also had the legal case didn't they over rights a little while ago. The tension would be massive if they did reform :eek:

Depends on whether the tension is healthy or not though doesn't it. I mean a little tension can be good but not bucket loads of the stuff :eek:

I had a WONDERFUL weekend but theres not a part of my body that doesnt hurt , they had me moving muscels I didnt know i had ! like dancing with ur chest lifted as if you are holding a pencil between your shoulder blade's and dont arch ur back (yeah righttt) !!!!
now i need sleep and a massage .

The thing I realised the other day though is that the world cup would be a bit boring WITHOUT England in it. Since Ireland aren’t there, the whole country is cheering for ‘whoever’s playing England’ and if England’s out of it that means we have to use our imagination :rolleyes: . Anyway after watching over the weekend, I’ve decided nobody’s gonna win it this year – they’re all bloody crap. Although I found it tough to turn over to 24 last night cos Portugal V Angola was a pretty good game and I’d have liked to see Angola come away with something. I love spirited performances like that – Trinidad and Tobago were another good one. I think Holland were much better than our pundits are giving them credit for – Robben had a fantastic game and Van Basten definitely gets the award for ‘best use of white shirt against tan’

Ah the 6 nations Pegasus . I love it. Life always seems a little bit empty for a week or two when it’s over. Ireland lost to the All Blacks on Saturday :( I felt robbed cos we HAD it until the 70th minute 23-21 to US after being in the lead from about the 10th minute. It was a brilliant game but such a let down. If we were ever gonna beat them, that was it.

So have watched every game of the World Cup so far and now someone has decided to put work in the way :rolleyes: and Dave we're not even going to mention the possibilities due to The Who :eek: :eek: that wasn't part of the plan.

I don't think so this time - there seems to be a good team spirit for once. Van Basten seems to have gelled the team which is something they've NEVER had going into a world cup... AND they're not really expected to do well, which is another something they've never had.

Argentina were alright, I think their display was overrated, the way they sat back on their lead was just stupid. Yeh, they were good but we haven't really seen anything great from any of the teams yet.

Yep, I'm gonna miss the first game every day now

And you think that's bad - Oxegen (our festival with the who and the chilis, etc) is on the day of the bloody FINAL!!! Usually for events like that though, there are big screens.
