    Ahoj moje p?átelé

    PEARL JAM V PRAZE 2006!!!!

Hey people, I'm soooo happy that i we managed to get tickets for the Prague. The city is special to me in many ways.

Czechs who are going...where are you from?

The sazka arena is on the outskirts of the city but easily found by the excellent metro system. Metro B, stop ?eskomoravská. You can also get of at Palmovka and walk.
  • I Scot IDI Scot ID Posts: 275
okay i guess czech characters are a no no on the forum haha.

    The stop is Ceskomoravska.

I know Prague very (lying, reasonably) well and it has seen the brunt of many of my kilted antics so it will be accustomed to it, just not in our anti-stag party way.
  • See... not just a pretty face(or arse)....

Any newcomers to prague better get ready for the greatest pilsner style lagers you;ve ever tasted AND they don;t give you a hangover

    and that:

    "skotaceni" = antics/romp

Damn... Your conversation makes me even more desperate for MY 10c ticket to Prague... which is still just in two dimensions.

Btw, the most positive, cheerful, outgoing and happiness-spreading guy I've ever met in my hometown was a scot in a kilt. :D

Ahoj Katjo ? (sorry if that is rubbish)

Well, that is what us Kilted Scots do best. We are there to make people smile and laugh and that's what we will be doing in Prague. I hope you get a ticket, the general sale is still to come!

I am going to be there. Any hostels close to the venue you would recommend? I'm going by car and straight to Berlin afterwards, so I probably won't travel to Old Town or city centre, I would prefer to stay on the ourskirts close to the venue. Any recommendations?

Oh, and do you have Smadny Mnich in Prague, or you despise Slovakian beers? ;)
  • Oh I'm definately in!

I might have one place left, but nothing for sure because I don't know yet how many people are going with me. Drop me your email via pm (as I don't come often here) and I will let you know.
  • There's four of us... so we won;t intrude...

Haha sorry man i don't have a copy, it was just conducted on Vacklaske namesti in Prague by some Norwegian TV guys!!!

There were loads of Norwegians over at the time. I was in the pub watching the Scotland vs Norway game with about 3 other Scots and about 100 Norwegians. What a night that ended up being!

I don't know of any good hostels/hotels off top of my head since I have a flat but I will ask around!

Hmmm...where to meet up? I will have to think about the best places and let you know. (my brain is a little foggy now, lack of sleep + excitement over PJ)

    Wahay!!!

    Ahoj pearljamjen!!

Actually guys i know of many good places in the centre and it is easy to get to the gig even in a large crowd but nothing in the sazka arena region.

Just now i would say to book a few tables at hospoda v lucerne on vodickova in the centre. I know the barmen too.

burstchips, i had some friends stay in ABC hostel just next to wenceslas square. It was big and cheap so you could get in with other PJ fans. Again its in the centre but that is no problem.
