Angel - I have always been into spirituality and astral life. So, when I hear this song I really feel the emotion of an astral flight, or an out of physical body experience. To me this song has always been my favorite and means the most to me .
Lately, it's My Father's Son in regards to my estranged dad. Haven't seen him in 21 years and apparently he hasn't contacted my cousins who I've reunited with on Facebook in quite some time as well. I have a feeling the death of my uncle a decade ago may have played into this.
It has always been Alive for me. I couldn't have gotten through the last 20 pluse years without that song. No matter how bad things would get; I knew that I was still here.
Makes me think of both my wife, and my cousin. My wife and I are celebrating two years of marriage tonight. A couple of weeks before we were married, though, my cousin was killed in a car accident. He was just 28. Sirens reminds me of how precious life is, that things can be so good, and then -bam- the unexpected happens. This song reminds me to cherish the moments I get with people, particularly my wife, whose face does make my fear go away.
"I'm a lucky man, to count on both hands the [shows I've done]. Some folks just have one, others they got none..."
It varies, but for a while after Sept. 11 once it came out "I am Mine". Kind of explains why I do some things spur of the moment.

Things happen in the game. Nothing you
can do. I don't go and say,
"I'm gonna beat this guy up."
There are so many PJ songs that I love so it's hard to say. Jeremy was one of the first PJ songs I ever heard. On vinyl I have another version of it that I can only describe as thought provoking, it takes you somewhere deep in thought when you hear it. There is something about that song. Not just the meaning of it but the powerful drive of the music behind the words.
Escape is never the safest path... / Begging for a prayer... / Trying to shake the cancer off?... Stupid human beings... Once you hold the hand of love, it's all surmountable...

I don't have a favorite, I love every song but Unthought Known really does something to me. "Look for love in evidence that you're worth keeping" Wow, that gets me.
