Nice thread Tim! Haven't read through all 25 pages so I apologize in advance if I'm repeating stuff. I know some of these ideas have been posted in other place before too but here are a few ideas:

    1. It would be nice if there was a system where 10club members could pre-order a poster for shows at the same time we purchase tickets. Not sure the best way to do that but it would be nice not to have to worry about it getting damaged at the show or standing in the merch line only to see the posters sell out before you get one.

    2. The AET show was a great way to hear updates about the band and the 10club. It would be great if this was back on the air but if that's not happening then could we get some periodic interviews, q&a sessions, etc on the streaming PJ radio or the chat room?

    3. How about a notification system via text message when new items are posted to the goods section? I know in the past sometimes emails have been sent out and it has taken a long time for everyone to receive them, which means they probably missed out on a limited quantity item. Unless you happen to be online and see Santos post about new merchandise in the forums, there isn't any way to know when new items are for sale.

    4. Of course like everybody else I'd love to hear an update on the Alpline bootlegs and/or DVD, etc. Also, is the No Code/Yield box set still in the works? Has Eddie expressed any interest in releasing bootlegs for his solo shows?

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Keep up the good work!

How about a fanclub only show at a smaller venue like the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago!

THIS! That would be my dream!
Yeah! But at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver!!! :D

Don't play corporate events like Oracle. :nono:

It's being panned by 95% of the fans on this and other message boards.

Maybe we are the fools for thinking the band is (was?) better than this...

This challenges the perception of everything that PJ stands for, heck, they've written songs about corporations...!

(I even have a Pearl Jam poster from 2004 of John Ashcroft with blood on his hands and he was a pimp for Oracle)

Thanks for being open to our hearing our feedback/ideas - it is reassuring to see!

I agree w many other's ideas & added a few of my own:

1.) Continue to reward fan loyalty w/seats by member no. (not lottery or GA)
2.) More PJ shows than festivals
3.) LOVE the idea of doing 10c only shows (the smaller the venue the better)
4.) Expand 10c seating areas so more fans can attend the shows and purchase the 10c tix via presale w/o a lottery.
5.) Add barracades to the 10c section if General Admission
6.) Q&A with band members on PJ radio
7.) More "Surprise a fan" fun (Like the Amsterdam 2 show where the fan was asked to put together that awesome set list)!
8.) Monkeywrench radio takes over the airwaves in 2013?
9.) Add a "fans helping fans" segment to the PJ site or elsewhere so that we can rally behind anyone in need of help (rt now fans really do try to help each other if they can find the stories on the Forum or on Facebook - but most are hard to find on the site (for example, health issues, state of emergency losses, etc,))
10.) Remember, "can't find a better band" AND "can't find better fans" ;)

Just want to say that I like the lottery system a lot and that the idea of seniority sounds unfair andike bad business. If that was how it went then PJ and 10c wouldn't get new fans/members and the crowd would just get older and older. And I would never get a ticket for the rest of my life!

I know you're not supporting the FLAC/FLAC-HD/ALAC/ALAC-HD files, but if you took 1 song from 1 show (or even a 1 minute clip of a song) and presented it on your website for members to download, those members would be able to test it out on any/all of their devices and see which would be the best option for their needs.

Yeah. Keep letting your audience get older and older and older and keep all the younger people out of your rock concerts.

    Sarcasm. Gotta love it.

Q1. Is there any chance of setting up a european shop? I would buy more often from the website but every purchase I've made through 10c I've been stung with an import tax on top of the postage making it a very expensive purchase.

Q2. Any plans to release Eddies tour on bootleg.?

    ^^^^^^^^ This ^^^^^^^^^^^
Ive just been to collect a t shirt and some stickers I orderd, total value £20,I had to pay the post office £11.45 !! :o ,I was going to order the Manchester boots when they both come out but I'll just stick with the downloads at that price.
    .

Yea! I caved and purchased the Vs. / Vitalogy Deluxe Box set thingie for $160. I can pick it up at the postoffice tomorrow, but I have to bring an additional $45 (36 Euro) to pay for import taxes! So, it would be great if that could be avoided somehow.

ps. and it is being sold in Europe, but for ridiculous prices ($343): http://www.hhv.de/item_247013.html

    SHIPPING IS TERRIBLE:

I'd like to order some of these posters that they have on clearance but for a $50 order, the shipping is over $20. That's ridiculous. Why not use bazooka tubes for orders that exceed two posters like Brad does and charge the $10 or a little more? I don;t get it. The economy sucks, everyone seems to be broke... 10C... You must care a little.

P.S. I wonder if the actual BAND is aware or cares about shipping... or flipping? Anyone ever ask that one?

I'd support a European shop, a Q&A session with band members once a month, or meet and greets after shows. But at the end of the day this all has to be managed by someone and I think the guys have enough on doing what they do.
