And Fujikawa is out for the season because he needs Tommy John surgery. :(

Will that hurt the flipability of my Fujikawa bobblehead?

Thanks Fox. Another reason to hate you along with your horribly bias political coverage. We get the PIT CIN game in Milwaukee tonight instead of Cubs Dbacks. The Cubs are the 2nd most popular team in Milwaukee with lots of Cubs fans in the MIL area. There's no PIT or CIN fans around here. They only will have themselves to blame when this game gets shit ratings. At least they are on the W tomorrow but I really like when I can get a Fri or Sat night cubs game to watch on TV (when I can actually dedicate 3 hours to watching the game), which is a rarity.

Seems like we play well against bad teams but struggle when playing decent ones.

Especially against teams in the division, which gets us nowhere in the standings.

They still won't. I live here and the majority of people still think he's innocent, it's pathetic. They always come back with Sosa, and I tell them most Cubs fans will admit he cheated and he is and never will be welcome back at Wrigley.

Exactly...just had this discussion with a Brewers fan this morning and he brought up Sosa. I won't defend Sosa...he took PEDs and cheated!

Next time just walk Pujols. Albert has been a Cub killer for years - why pitch to him?

Was hoping the we would be able to draft Appel tonight but Bryant seems like a solid pick. Hopefully we have found our long term answer at 3rd.

It certainly isn't Vitters. Would have liked pitching as we desperately need it,but Bryant seems like a safer pick that high, with less bust potential, however this is the Cubs we are talking about so who knows.

They will probably end up trading him to Atlanta for a pitcher that needs tommy john surgery 2 months after they get him.
