Relocated cubs fan in SoCal. Went to the second game of the angels series. Sooooooo many cubs fans at the game. That's what I love about being a cubs fan. We're everywhere and all have the same deep passion about our team cause god knows we're not rooting for a champion. Now all we need is some solid closers and we may have a chance....next year!! :fp: go cubs go!!!

The Reds have won 10 straight at Wrigley. Tied for the longest streak by any opponent with the Cardinals in the 40's and the Expos in the 80's.

    Ian Stewart suspended without pay.

The most surprising part of this story is that Ian Stewart has twitter followers.

I think it's that he gets paid for the shit he has produced, or lack there of. Nice to see the organization not tolerating this crap. Hopefully we can just release this piece of shit.

The Cubs were willing to release him like he wanted but they said that he would need to forfeit the $2 million. Stewart refused.

As soon as those two reached base I immediately thought...."game over".

The sad thing is that Marmol will probably sign on with another team next year and suddenly become unhittable again.
