I am really starting to fucking loathe Christian Yelich. When Sammy Sosa goes from 20 to 66 homers he’s on roids but when Yelich does it he’s the greatest gift to fucking baseball. Fuck Ryan Braun, too, because.
When I looked at the schedule a week ago, I knew damned well this was the beginning of the end for the Cubs. Starting July 22 they had to play 19 of 25 on the road. Cubs have the WORST ROAD RECORD in the National League! They are 1-4 so far on this trip, and after back to back crushing loses in Milwaukee, I don't see this ending well. The bullpen is a joke, PERIOD!!!
And at some point in the next, I don't know, 3-5 years, can the Cubs finally get a leadoff hitter? Is it really to much to ask? Is it that fucking hard?
I can truly see this team going 6-19 on this 25 game stretch. THE END!

Take me piece by piece..... Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
• Their eight blown saves in July is tied for the most in baseball.
• On Saturday, they blew multiple save opportunities in the same game for the second time this season. Only the Mets have done that more.
• In 542 appearances before this season, Kimbrel had given up multiple home runs in the same outing just only once. In 12 games as a Cub, he has done it twice already.
Let’s look at the bright side. Maybe Ed will say “Fuck it. These guys suck.” and get back in the studio rather than hanging around Wrigley Field all October.

Regarding the last one, what is it about putting on a Cubs uniform that makes people suck?

I’m checked out with this team. They’re just too frustrating. Since I have zero expectations, I can’t be let down. I’m ready for Bears football to start in a major way.
Anyone want take a guess or know which current Cubs player is suspected of having Relations with Ben Zobrists EX-Wife????.....This blew me away but sort of makes sense.......

Is this for real?
2nd time I've heard mention of this scenario. Is this true, or people playing off Palmerio and Sandberg's wife back in the day?

I gotta side with Wobbie on all 3 points here. Didn't like Sammy even in the heyday. Though I did enjoy the excitement of the Sosa/McGwire HR race.

Yea, Sammy is still a touchy subject with Cubs fans and I'm not sure I understand why. Since baseball, I feel like maybe Sammy has bigger problems than the Cubs. For that reason, among others, I tend to give him a break for whatever of his actions that I may have taken umbrage with.

Hope the change of scenery does him well. He was really good for us at one time. Another 2016er gone.
