    Russell has been nothing but clutch all year.
    He's been nothing short of spectacular defensively. And 19 homers are a plus. But rizzo, bryant, arrieta, Hendricks, are all ahead of Addy in the team mvp category.

    Rizzo made a bone head play. No excuse for it. But I don't mind seeing the aggressiveness. But damn, you have to realize going to 3rd on that play is not really an option.

    Plus, I've given Javier Baez a ton of shit this year. But God damn, that was one hell of a player he made to score that run. Excellent, heads up play.

    Kyle is increasingly looking like Greg Maddux. Even his mannerisms on the mound - not to mention the movement on the changeup. He spotting it very well. If he can make that like clock work, he's going to be a real force for a long time.

    Yeah, no kidding. I really thought this year was a turning point for him. Instead, the first half turned to the second half - and he's become Hammel again. I swear, he was ticked about missing the Wrigley shows, and has been in the tank since. That pre Wrigley Colorado game was case in point
