  • Flew in from Portland and am looking for 2 tickets tonight. Figure might as well throw it out there and see if any fellow 10clubbers can help a guy out. Thanks!!

Yah, the umpiring is for sure "better" if you are a Cubs fan.
That Bill Murray seventh inning stretch was great. EV has something to try and top if he is asked to do it.

I thought it was terrible. The man is sad and tries too hard
    I thought it was embarrassing.

Three words that describes the Cubs offense. A fucking single wins the game and Javy is still swinging for the god damn fence on a (very) high fastball. Every batter trying to go yard last night instead of just trying to string some hits together.

My only hope for this World Series now is that Joe Buck fulfills his ever so obvious dream of being tag teamed by Corey Kluber and Andrew Miller.

    Bill Murray was great.

We made Josh Tomlin look like a fucking hall of famer. He wasn't spot on with his stuff. It's truly amazing that when the cubs are cold, they're freezing. Hendricks pitched a great game. It's a shame to have wasted such a good start with no hitting. The problem does not lie in schwarber not starting or heyward blowing goats. It's fowler. When fowler gets on base, we win. Period. He has to get his head out of his ass. Our pitching g is so much better and we just need 1 guy to get on base twice a game to win.

    LMAO!!!

    Joe Buck is a tool!

And you are correct. Cubs were definitely swinging at shit pitches. They need to win tonight.

Holy shit! Everyone I was watching the game with was asking who the fuck that goddamn tool singing the anthem was. We had to do Wiki searches because we assumed he was Lord Wrigley the VII and nepotism allowed him the honor of performing.

Turns out it is the lead singer of FALL OUT BOY!

LOL! OMG! WTF? FALL OUT BOY!

    the cubs are doomed

Forced elsewhere. And it doesn't even seem nearly as packed as it did before and after pearl jam. There was no one out in the beer garden area.

Not the result I was hoping for but easily the best most intense sporting event I've ever been to. Unbelievably grateful for the experience. Only my wedding and birth of my son were better nights in my life. The crowd and energy were unreal, especially after those big double plays. The just absolute joy of everyone in attendance until the last out was a truly incredible feeling. My voice is finally starting to come back. Can't wait to do it all again tomorrow for game 5 tomorrow. Need to get it done tonight Cubbies!!

Sounds like a couple beers and close enough proximity made your decision for you.

Disappointed the bats have seem to have "gone" "in hiding"
At the top of my "Wishlist" is that someone take Kluber "Deep" "Amongst the Waveland"
A good start would be if Javy would "Just Breathe" at the plate.

I don't always want to sound like a contrarian but baseball is boring and if it wasn't because the forever EV loved cubs in this series no one cares. Cubs got their ass kicked tonight.
Perhaps they need Murray duck singing to them for a rally.
What do ya say? Some day the cubs will go all the way.

Football is popular because of gambling and fantasy football. Football has so much downtime between plays and penalties.

Baseball is a thinking mans game and above some people's comprehension. Enjoy football then, it's a good sport for the non-thinking types.
