    Big win tonight.
  • Best of 5 now. Cubs have homefield.

Chip Caray...is it just me or does that cat look a little rough nowadays?

    its basically by script.

Without Salazar and Carrasco... and with Bauer off his game with his drone-cleaning accident, the Cubs have a large advantage in the starting pitching match-ups. Kluber evens it out. Im saying that to be nice, but I would argue has an advantage over anybody at this point... He was rocky on his only other career 3-day-rest start in the ALCS. If he starts game 5 and 7, that would be two consecutive 3-day-rest starts which is asking a lot.

It has been the worry since before the series started, and last night confirmed it. Basically I have to hope that Kluber is lights out in 3 starts in 8 days (the 'easy' one already done)... AND for them to steal a game started by Tomlin or Bauer vs Hendricks or Arrieta.

Anyone else see a pattern here?

I know that he claims to be a "Chicago fan" but I don't recall him being at Wrigley when the Cubs were losing 100 games.

I understand your point im just over the whole cubs sox fan thing. People can support who they want when they want. Cusak has every right to support both teams.

In my situation I just decided to not go to games since they had terrible product on the field basically every year since 03...smart cub fan doesn't make me fair weather.

I had to boycott until they got rid of Hendry and then I just haven't had a chance to get back since.
got to see some really bad teams in past though.

  • Wow. That was a huge win last night. The legend of Schwarbino is getting big and is about to probably get even bigger. Cubs win the series in Sunday.

  • As sweet as it would be, I don't think it's going to happen in Chicago. The Indians haven't lost 3 straight all season. I sure hope the Cubs can change that all...but it'll be tough.

Schwarber starts in LF on Friday....book it!

I think some outside Chicago forget, or don't understand how wealthy some folks are here. These bars will have zero problem packing people in at these prices. If I had the money I would do it in a heartbeat. This will be unlike anything the north side has ever been part of....

Here's a bar right down the street from Wrigley. Just next door to the Metro club. They are not charging cover. It is a GREAT bar.
If my in-laws weren't coming into town this weekend I sure as shit would've been there. But maybe not...as I am a Sox fan!

The game is on FREE TV. People are morons if they pay this to watch a tv. Glad i paid less than that for a ticket to actually go to game 3 and game 5. The greed/exploitation of people truly disgusts me.

I just read that Murphy's isn't charging a cover. I bet the line starts at 11 am. Either way, still not as bad as the Wrigley PJ merch line. I'll be in it. Rolling into town at 10 am Saturday. Can't wait.

I'm so pumped for this weekend, but of course everything at work has decided to pile up on me at the last minute haha. This weekend will be a much needed escape from reality. Hopefully culminating with the party of a lifetime on Sunday night.

Not everyone is in the same situation you're in The hottest ticket ever in Chicago fell in your lap. People want to be part of this, no matter cost. Watching at home will be nowhere near the experience of watching it a block away. I see no wrong in business owners in Chicago making a buck on this ride. God knows the city has screwed them out of every tax dollar possible. Good for them, nobody is forcing people into the bars.

Damn... No Schwarber in the field for games 3-5. Only cleared to pinch hit.

It seems that running the bases would be more of a rush than playing the field. Makes no sense.
