Still no reviews from anyone on this board?
So am I correct here?
Looks like Rodger basically kept the same stage, same setup, and same musicians from his Tommy Tour...
Added Pete...
And changed the album?Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....0 -

But I'm with you on the lack of reviews. Get with it, people!"The stars are all connected to the brain."0 -

Once again, I'll point out that if Ed is still performing at 68 you'll be thinking that it's way cool.
I'm conflicted on this. Part of me wants them to quit at the first sign of "losing it." So far, we haven't seen it. Ed is what? 45?If I had known then what I know now...

I had a big review all typed up and then hit submit and it logged me out
Starting over...
Great show. Highly recommend catching the opener, Vintage Trouble. They're a true R&B group who sound right out of the 60's, real fun set. I could tell they made some volume adjustments from the show prior as they definitely weren't as loud as I would have liked but what can you do? The stage was set up with a large video screen serving as a backdrop of the stage along with 3 smaller circular screens flying above the stage left, right, & center. They really incorporated great video clips that were tailored perfectly with each song. They also showed quite a bit of old footage of the band and did a great job honoring John & Keith; especially during "Bell Boy" and "5:15" which was one of my favorites of the night (LOVE that bass solo). Other standouts were "The Real Me", "Love Reign O'er Me", "Behind Blue Eyes", "Wont Get Fooled Again", & "Baba" (sorry if that's kind of a greatest hits list, but as a casual fan those stood out for me). Wish I could have heard "Eminence Front" though, but was glad they played other material after finishing Quadrophenia. The place was pretty packed and the new arena is very impressive, although it's definitely geared more towards sports than concerts.
here's an official review from Orlando's newspaper:

I'm not sure age makes that much difference for a vocalist. Sheesh, Tony Bennett is eighty-something and people think it's fabulous that he still performs."The stars are all connected to the brain."0 -

Stage set up is different and quite a bit more elaborate.
Anyway, the only difference that matters is Pete."The stars are all connected to the brain."0 -

I won't be seeing them till the 2nd leg of the tour so I don't know if Vintage Trouble will still be the opener. I'd like to see them.
I have a feeling the set list after Quad will go through some revisions but I don't know if they'll include Eminence Front. As I've posted before, Roger does the set lists so blame him."The stars are all connected to the brain."0 -

I have my 5 STAR Hotel booked in Detroit. The fact that Detroit even has a 5 STAR Hotel just cracks me up!
We have our dinner reservations set.

My wife and I saw Jack White in Detroit this summer. WE HAD A BLAST! Keep your mind open and your expectations low about Detroit and you'll have a great time. I highly recommend one of the Casinos after the show, you'll see alot of true Detroit residents and its a trip.....0 -
