Like myself, I am sure you have been to many shows, and seen many bands.
This production of Quadrophenia, by Daltrey and Townshend..
Is EASILY one of the BEST concerts I have ever seen.
And I have seen a few bands in my lifetime.

    Go to the show.
    You wont regret it.
    Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....

I had no idea that Simon Townsend was such a good singer. He wasn't part of the band when I saw them over 20 years ago. But I enjoyed the hell out of hearing him sing in Montreal.
It's nice to be nice to the nice.

Simon is very talented and easily overlooked because of his famous brother. I would love to hear Pete and Simon sing together--when brothers harmonize, their voices sound great together.

    good times...

they had the old drummer sing a song while the band played.....i was like wow. that was pretty cool

you were right about allstate, and maybe it's because of where i sat, but the sound was aweful. i'm guessing the ceiling with all the wood trusses plays a big part into it. UC is a way nicer venue. the whole stair thing sort of blew

it would rank behind radiohead st louis and pearl jam philly as the 3rd best show of the year.

i forgot to check for a merchandise booth on the way out......i would have picked up a tshirt...i'll have to check their website.

quite a few empty seats. the person i bought from had 4 and only was able to sell 2 at half price. took a bath on those.

You're lying. That makes no sense. You only need 1 depends, or what's the point?

If it makes you feel any better, I'm taking 3 of my sons to their first Who show in February and they will be 9, 11 and 13.

But first, MSG with one of my brothers and Mohegan Sun with the wife....

Starting 'em off right, I see.
I like both age groups getting a little Who. What cracks me up about taking my sister is her asking "Are you sure you don't mind going to another show? I know you've seen them before."

Well, my 5 year old started singing, "Take a bottle, Drink it down, pass it around" over and over again out of the blue the other day. :? :)

    Proud papa.

MSG: started around 8:30, definitely don't get there later than 8:30! Ended almost 11:00 as well. They played straight through pretty much. Don't think Townshend or Daltrey left the stage at all. MIND BLOWN!
