the ones I know are flying...I think seat 15E is still available...

How spotty will cell reception be on the way out there and once we're there? My cell is a smart phone, so it could be used to provide updates on the road. During designated stops, of course ... wouldn't want to be Tweeting photos of the road I'm driving on as it could be shortly followed by Tweeting photos of the ditch I've driven into.

according to PJ_ROCKS, you can get 3G service (no 4G though  )

I would expect spotty service throughout Montana. Missoula should have service..it is a college town.

yes 3G only, sorry guys we are only 10 years behind here in MT....

service will be very good, there will be those spots, where there is no service.

BTW what is a smart phone???

Well, I certainly can't imagine why you wouldn't want to drive hours and hours on end with a single let alone several drunk bastards (or bastard-ettes) riding with you. I mean, that clearly means fun and exciting entertainment for the whole trip for you the driver!

Why would you want to pass that up?

Sorry to bother everyone but if by any chance someone is looking to sell a pair of tickets to the Missoula show I'm pretty much desperate! Any help would go along way thanks!

Keep your eyes GLUED to Lost Dogs. I've noticed 3 pairs of tix for sale in the last couple days but they were gone within minutes. I'm sure people will start to bail now that they realize the show is in Montana!

guess we should start thinking of meet up logisitics....and departure times.

my thought was KW can grab nature, i'll grab cubbee and patrick can grab himself and we can all meet up at trucks for a group departure...maybe... or something else.

This sounds good to me, unless someone comes along with a better idea.

Only 17 more days to go until the grabbing begins! :D

Oh, and is everyone behind an early departure time? Like 6 or 7? The earlier we get out of the Chicagoland area, the better. By Google Map calculations, it takes about 15 hours to go from Chicago to Milwaukee to Rapid City, SD. So, leaving at 6 a.m. from Chicago puts us in Rapid City by 8 p.m. Mountain Time.

(Google over-calculates and assumes going the speed limit, which we won't do, but I figure that extra time will be taken up with bathroom breaks and filling the tank.)
