Can you just imagine the hysteria that would occur on these boards if Pearl Jam ever made a commercial like that, with all the Budweiser logos?

Still trying to talk someone into the Platinum VIP. I know it's crazy but....

That's just really a pipe dream.

Have we ever found out the amount of tickets they are selling for the GA? Just can't justify going in GA if it's like the crowds the size of concerts past at that spot like Live 8 etc.

Also wish Gary Clark was playing Sunday would make my decision easier.

i have a small group thinking the same thing...any word on where the vip sections will be??

btw why platinum vip? i got the regular vip and your still suppose to have access to the vip viewing areas just maybe not the one that says exclusive to the platinum package

"Exclusive access to the VIP viewing areas"

I will be taking PATCO in from New Jersey to the last station. Then walking the rest of the way, which turns out to be about 15 blocks. Not a big deal going in, but i am weary about after the show. I am also worried that I might need to leave to catch the last train before the set is over... :? But im not going to drive in because i think that would be worse..

When does the last train leave for NJ ?

I thought the last train left around midnight.. and then didn't start again until 5:something am, But I think I read the schedule wrong. It seems like it runs all night, just at 45 minute intervals.

Also, Monday probably is holiday schedule, so as soon as it hits midnight, they probably put on more trains b/c everyone has the day off? I assume...

I am trying to figure out how to drive in and park close
Reason being that my daughter is due to deliver her baby on Sept. 5th and I am going to be in the birthing room
What if she decides to go into labor on Sunday..and you KNOW she will!
I can't depend on the train.
Anyone know if there is ANY parking?
    peace,
    jo

Parking. This is THE single reason I do not have a pair of tickets yet. Once I figure this out, stub hub it is. There is a garage near by, but philapark.org (I think that's the address) shows it has only 191 spaces.

Parking is not a problem. You just can't park right near the venue. Park further away and enjoy a walk through the city...or something.

Speaking of parking...we are staying at the Sheraton Downtown on Sat. night and then driving home after PJ on Sunday night....do you think we should just keep our car parked in the Sheraton garage? Even if it cost more money after we check out on Sunday, then walk back there after PJ on Sunday, if we can't park any closer, I figure we should just keep our car there.

I'd say if you don't mind the cost, then I'd do that. No reason to go driving around looking to only get marginally closer when your car's already parked. And, really, who wants to spend their day dealing with that shit?
