Sonesta. Its not that good of a price. I think I'm paying $350 for Sat and Sun total.

I have a ton of Marriott points but not sure if I want to use 75k for 3 nights at the Courtyard...I may just use hotwire or something...

Philly locals...what's the best way to get to this? I assume park up 76 and train it in? Is there a better train route.

Always in and out of Philly, but I don't think I want to drive in this weekend and I've never had to use the mass transit.

    Thanks

I will be taking PATCO in from New Jersey to the last station. Then walking the rest of the way, which turns out to be about 15 blocks. Not a big deal going in, but i am weary about after the show. I am also worried that I might need to leave to catch the last train before the set is over... :? But im not going to drive in because i think that would be worse..

That is exactly what I am doing. PATCO runs every 15-20 minutes through the night. The afterglow from the show will get us to walk back to 16th & Locusts.

You know - in terms of hotel - I got mine booked. But I heard from some friends that go to Philly a lot that they always have luck pricelining a few days before their trip. So I'm going to try that out to see if I can get a cheaper hotel and just cancel what I have if I can. I would just suggest booking something now with a cancellation policy so you have a backup plan!

I think you're better off with the hard-ticket IMO. I don't trust the at-home printed tickets. I just think the printed link could be sent to too manny people. I've read horror stories when people got to the show, ther ticket was NO good, and that's because someone's printed ticket(the same ticket) was already scanned in.

I didn't really think about that when I did it, but that is a good point. The decision was more because I didn't want to download/print the ticket at work and that I like the look and feel of the hard tickets better

That's what i did too: got me the hard-ticket!!
