Cant wait for this! Anyone else trying to imagine a little "Rock this Way" with Ed and DMC?

Chris Cornell-possibly the only act added to the bill that I consider a negative. Well, that and Drake before PJ.
Im all for a mix of musical styles, but I think I will pass. Sorry I'm just not interested in PJ 20 Redux.
That being said I am sure the band will bring it and I am sure that there will be a record number of tramp stamps on display. That alone might be worth the price of admission. 0 0

Why would they play TOTD at a public festival? This isnt organized by PJ for PJ FANS ONLY.2008 - MSG 6/24-6/25

Expect an encore with CC. At a minimum. For better or worse, Ed loves to highlight the talents of other players and show respect. Yes, special guests mean less PJ, which, for me, means a less attractive show. I will have to see the prices before I make an ultimate decision. But at the moment, Im just not feeling it. A change from my earlier perspective, for sure. Drake? Really? Thats the best Jay-z could do for a day of rock?Jeremys Spoken wrote:

It's not supposed to be split down the middle between rap and rock. If that was the case Some of the bands playing on Sat would have been on Sun.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

I'm still on the fence whether to go or not. I still haven't completely recovererd from Jimmy Page playing Kashmir with Puff Daddy. If Pearl Jam was to play one of their classics with a rapper, I might be in a padded cell babbling.Get_Right wrote:

Man, people are acting like Pearl Jam isn't going to bring it.
They will and it'll be another great show in the city of brotherly love.
Grab a Cheese steak samwich, drink some beers smoke some weed and enjoy the day,0

This is going to be a GREAT time. I want to see a TOTD song or two. It would be SWEET if JZ came out and did Dirty Frank or Sweet Lew. PJ will be back in town to play a non-festival show soon. Enjoy the experience happening now. I know I will. Post edited by YoullseeDragons on0 Post edited by YoullseeDragons on0
