Got it on FLAC but I can't figure out how to convert it to iTunes format.

If I had my laptop with me (using an iPad) I could tell you the simple program I use. I'll check.

    I figured it out. 8-)

After The Goldrush. I say that because my father gave me a copy when I was 15 years old and it has forever since been a staple in my collection.

Other albums I'd personally suggest are:

    Harvest
    On The Beach
    Tonight's The Night
Mirrorball (as you probably know, PJ is the backing band)
    Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
    Zuma

Neil has some really strong albums, and then some that might not be considered as strong. Although you have to admire the man for a work technique that is hard to miss. That being no matter what, just keep on creating. Artists hit highs and lows, but the important thing is to keep working, and power through. Neil Young is a testament to that artistic motto.

Start with Everyone Knows This Is Nowhere. It's the first NY album to actually sound like NY.

Good choice. I wouldn't wait too long to get Rust Never Sleeps. ;)

And of course Mirror Ball is a must for any Pearl Jam fan, even if you don't like Neil Young.

Like a few, but this feels like a throw-off.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Americana is fucking awesome. Buy it. Now.

I think Clementine is one of my all-time fave NY songs.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the album. They did a great job at transforming those songs.

Anyone going to see Neil and the Horse on tour? Would be cool to see them with Patti Smith.
And so you see, I have come to doubt

I like that it came with a "video" for each song

It won't have a long shelf life for me either. Actually 2012 as a whole has been the worst music year for me that I can remember. There are many 5 albums that I've listened to a lot.
