I fully agree. I thought the album making process was compresses/rushed to make the january tour, and i didn't really agree with it, but i thought they could pull it off. Brian was talking about the fact that he was excited to play shows with 24 songs of albums that he wrote, and then mix them with the covers. He mentioned this atleast twice at crossroads alone, and online a couple times too. I'm not sure how he would be comfortable going against that..
I'm also thinking the album won't be as many "new" songs as we think. Probably nly half the album left unheard at this point....

Caught the show last night at Foxwoods. Really great show. The band sounds amazing. Love the new songs. I also had never heard the molly and the zombies stuff before and the songs are really great. BF is such an amazing songwriter. Wish they caught on more, I hate when talented people can't breakthrough and talentless people sell tons of records and fill stadiums.

Gaslight isn't done. They just needed a break from the routine and to refresh. They were pretty much non stop since 2007.
You won't hear Gaslight songs on this tour for that reason. Fallon's been gearing up for this for a few years so now is the perfect time
