Oz tour starts this Friday!! Who's going where?

I'm going tomorrow night in Brisbane, their first show on the tour and I must say I am about as excited I have ever been before a gig( apart from PJ).
Hoping to hear Red at Night or Our Father's Sons, but not expecting too.
The Tivoli is such a great venue, so the stage is set for a great gig
I'll ride the wave where it takes me

Sorry mate, didn't get back on here until just now.

Bloody great gig. Dave Hause was very solid, really enjoyed him

Gaslight were epic. Crowd was a little subdued in the first few songs and Brian told us so. His voice was on fire tonight- hitting every song. Not my perfect set list but still very good( would have loved to hear SOLAT or Baba)
Good mix of songs from every release including Señor and the Queen which rocked. Blue Jeans and White T- shirts was great and the new album sounded better live. 45 tore the house down and Backseat was a perfect closer.

They played for just under 2 hours I think. I reckon the rest of the shows will be longer though

  • Love all their records, but I can listen to Handwritten all day. One thing I've really noticed with that record; ... the audio, production and recording quality is 10x better than all of their others. Then I see Brendan O'Brien produced Handwritten and I know why

Yeah, its waaay more polished. Some people like that, some don't. I think the vast majority of fans love that album. I know the band does. Future is very bright for these guys. The only show in my area is at the Harley Davidson festival in Milwaukee. After watching Gangland I am afraid I would spill my beer on some guys club vest and end up floating in Lake Michigan.

Getting very pumped for this weekend

Love the Pony summer stage. Great set up.

Also really excited for The Hold Steady

Great way to start the summer on the Jersey shore! Especially after Sandy.

Yes with a few other dates around then. The reschedule the other shows though.

They seemed all pumped up about the fan club and connecting with the fans through that. They have all but neglected it.

Yeah, besides the tshirt and stickers, there hasn't been much word on the fan club.
