Think I'll be playing the mixing game but with beer only.. don't wanna be all loaded before the show starts plus this is a marathon weekend folks not a sprint.

    That makes sense.

Probably not related, but I was watching the History Channel the other day and the decline of the power of the Freemasons in this country was due to the murder and cover up of Captain Morgan. This Captain Morgan was a soldier and not a pirate, but I still found that interesting and funny.

I'll be starting off with the beer then changing to Captain an hour before the show! Im like Costanza, I do the opposite.

Anyway, I gotta have a Natty Light since I have never partaken in such a fine beverage, atleast according to you all.

Damn, looks like I may have an extra ticket to 6/01, if anyone is looking.

Christ, I just got done talking about this very subject shortly ago, haha. I got to be great friends with Jeninthebx last year (hot whitegurl from da board) and I came out and went to see Velvet Revolver (one of my fav bands ever) with her last year and it was cool. That weekend, I got to meet Solat13, PhillyPJ, and several others and it was the coolest time. It was nice to meet new folk, and I was welcomed in Philly with open arms. Last year I came out again for the 10/3 show and wow what a great time. A great group ya'lls got out there. I had so much fun, met so many fun people, and PJ loves your city so you get the best shows/setlists.

The short answer is "because I can"

Prepare to meet many more open-armed Philadelphians! And if your a friend of Jen's, you're ok with me. :)
Though I can't remember if we met on 10/3 or not. Jen thought we did, but I was in a post-engagement haze.

I'll have to maybe stop off at the bar tonight and see if I can pick up a 6-pack on the way home. But I might just hold off and wait til Memorial Day weekend and enjoy my first Natty with Fanch and the rest of all you people!

    Damn Ms. High & Mighty.....:D

For me college was this wonderful brew called Golden Anniversary and Boone's Wine. We used to fill cafeteria cups with the Boone's and take them to class or we'd make Screwdriver's before our first class in the morning.

Those were the good old days up at PSU!!

cmon people, who are we kidding, natty is GROSS...its the cheap ass beer we all used to buy in high school bc we didnt know any better and all we wanted to do was funnel it so we could get drunk...its the cheap ass beer that we drank in college bc we either had no $ to buy anything else, were not yet 21, or it was supplied to us in dirty ass frat basements (i.e. d-chi...yes im talking about YOU)

yes, some people may fancy it i.e. mr. fancher, but its really not ALL THAT

i will drink one natty on 5/27, not because i like the taste but bc its my duty to the YFC
(im sorry paccy! i still heart you!)

Listen sweetness, just because you're the social coordinator for Philly doesn't mean that you can talk shit about the Holy Brew of YIELD. So, stop it.

I think most of us will agree that for the most part beer is beer. What I mean is when talking about beers priced under $18 to $20 a case, sure there are differences but for the most part they are the same.
Once you pass $20 a case then you're in a whole new ballpark where each person has their own particular tastes... IMHO
