Again, I get it. I get the distinction between god and religion (AND the lack thereof). You make a lot of random assumptions and ignore what you feel like ignoring. I'm starting to realize it's kind of pointless discussing this kind of issue with you, because nothing gets through to you unless you conveniently select it to get through. Sorry if you're not aware that you do this... but I think it's glaringly obvious.

It is a huge part of God and who we are.

I mention something much deeper than that.
This the energy/vibe I am speaking of, the connection and gift we all possess.

you are an atheist, I am a former atheist you believes in God ... not religion.

We can remember this in the future and know we will not sway each other in our
core belief

Atheism and Theism and effects many who wish to keep God close but reject organized religion
because the fit is not good.
Pretty sure this is what the OP is questioning and looking for some resolution....
they are definitely not alone.

"Religion" and "organized religion" are two different things. God has to be connected to religion. But not necessarily to organized religion.
