Compared to former president W.Bush and to the other republican candidates, Obama is a genius.
I watched the republican debates and I was shocked about that freak-show.
How can anyone want one of these brainless puppets to be leader of the most powerful country on earth?

President Bush not only destroyed the economy and gave heavy tax cuts to the rich ones, he made a fool of the US, he created worldwide hate against the US and it's citizens.
Obama did a good job to repair the damages Bush has done. Hope he gets elected to continue his good work.
Eddie should support Obama, hope he'll do it.

Helping to fend off a depression while having the bailouts almost entirely paid back with interest, passing the largest and most important piece of domestic legislation in decades, ending the bigoted policy of don't ask don't tell, saving the auto industry, ended one war and is bringing the other to a close, oversaw the death of the top commanders of al qaeda, including the person who was responsible for over 3,000 civilian deaths. Not bad for 3 years. Oh and you have a grown man from a TV show as your avatar.

Right? I mean where is the evidence that Bush used the fear and anger of American citizens from 9/11 to start an unjust war and then go and personally invest in those efforts so he and his buddies could go from rich, to insanely rich? Oh right, it's everywhere...except on your favorite unbiased news network, Fox.

But logic doesn't work in your world, does it? We all know how much you love unregulated capitalism. Feeding off others kindness for your own personal gain.

No wonder you can't wrap your head around a president who wants to regulate crony capitalism. It breeds greedy, ungrateful pricks who just eagerly watch the middle class disappear. The funniest part is, you are probably a middle class citizen. Oh the irony. Oh the ignorance.

Well, the obvious has finally been confirmed... I think at this point all you Republicans should just take our word for it. :)

To answer the question at hand, I bet that Eddie sees both good and bad with the first term. Whoever he supports might depend on the choices at hand. I actually wouldnt be surprised if he was intrigued by Ron Paul.
  • Hmm, let's see...

Recovered 80% of the jobs lost in the last year of the BuSh admin and created 2 million private sector jobs in 2011 alone

We didn't go into a full blown depression despite what Fox "news" and the tea party tell you, believe me it could have been MUCH worse.

    saved the auto industry.

    Ended the iraq war.

rid the world of Osama Bin Laden.

    Ended DADT

Passed Health Care (You need it even though you don't want to pay for it...)

Unemployment is down, wages are up.

that's a pretty good list, want more? here you go.

    http://obamaachievements.org/list

I think if Obama were an old fart republican, you would call this a pretty good three years.

They probably haven't quite noticed the 3 trillion+ debt this meaningless war has put our country in. Must be rich enough to not feel the affects of it.

Really?? I would be VERY surprised! There is no way EV would throw any support towards the Republicans, no matter who the candidate is. He's super left wing. Super left wing people don't suddenly support the right just because some candidate may be intriguing in some way. No way no how.

So why do people think Obama ended the war in Iraq?? You all do know that in the fall/winter of 2008 the US made an agreement with Iraq that all combat troops would be withdrawn by the end of 2011.

All Obama did was keep the US's word on that agreement, nothing more, nothing less.

yep. although when he announced that he was going to go through with it, conservatives said he was being weak. I guess strength is not adhering to international agreements? if that's the case, we are a pretty damn strong country.

to answer your question, fucking great! MUCH better than 4 years ago when the market was tanking and i had $ frozen in multiple accounts due to greedy motherfuckers on wall street.

my business is better (hiring more employees due to higher demand) and my homes value has increased. almost forgot, have relatives back in the ole usa instead of some stupid ass war illegally framed by the previous admin.

    that's pretty good change :P
