Bernard King was an unbelievable player. Both are top 50 players of all time. You bring these 2 guys up while talking about a scrub like Jeremy Lin? Hilarious.

There are no stars in the NBA that don't score. Never has been. Rodman was as close as you can get

Way to cost your team the Win Jeremy!!

My God that was the ugliest basketball game I may have ever watched. Terrible!! Losing to New Orleans is pathetic.

i really wish some people on here would go play in traffic.

they missed an insane amount of free throws. they were due for a dud of a game. obviously not happy with 9 TO but ill take his 26 and 5. to blame it on him is ludicrous. i also like the addition of jr smith because it means less minutes for bill walker. if you think the 76ers are legit youre out of your element. once this team gels they would smoke philly in a series.

Knew you'd arrive. How bout your sophomore game predick Tion?

Ha, ha. Maybe, J-Lin needs a real scorer along side. Wonder where he can get one of those? RM22, maybe with all the knowledge you've forgotten you might know. Let us know.

So denver and Orlando are pathetic as well? (other teams NO has beat this year) Not to mention they are riding a 3 game win streak, they are a decent team if they play up to their full potential, the majority of their team just got traded there months ago it takes a while to adjust. Look how Miami started last year, they pathetic too? He scored 26 tonight, I don't care how the fuck he got it if you score 26 a night on a consistent basis (NOT saying that he will) then you are gonna be considered a pretty good player, and as for the Ben Wallace comparison, even if he wasn't a "star" he was at least HEARD OF for crying out loud, people knew who the fuck he was, you claim that Lin will be a no name bench warmer in 2 years, that's not what Wallace was so yes I think using him as an example is very fair.

Orlando is a 2nd tier team at best...might be a thrid...they have howard and 3pt shooting....and not much else....

denver is a borderline 2nd tier team..maybe third tier.

New Orleans actually plays pretty good ball...they just suck at shooting more nights..plus kayman sat out most of the season waiting to be traded and has only recently been playing because of all their injuries

Don't they have Emeka Okafor? Never mind that hes hurt. UCONN has special powers over teams that play at msg. So that game doesn't count.....

But are either of those teams "pathetic"? Simple answer, no. Does NO have more potential that their record suggests? Easy, yes they do. Does NY losing to NO after winning 7 straight games mean that Lin will be a no name in 2 years? Hardly
  • Lin looking good against the world champs.

Does this qualify as a "real team?"

Hang on to that one bad game. You'll need it to wipe the egg off your face at season's end.

Repeated double digit assists are not an accident in the NBA

  • Wait a second. In a couple of threads now, Red Mosquito has gone out of his way to say this guy is the shits. I mean... I get all that stuff about Lin experiencing the all-time most productive start to a career compared to all those other point guards (including Magic and Stockton)... but Red said he's the shits.

No idea what to think now. RedM usually offers such informative, balanced and neutral insights to these forums. Hmmm.

Ha ha. RM clearly has no idea. Will be interesting to see what shit he comes up with this time to discredit Lin. I live in Australia and still know more about NBA then RM.

doubt he will be back in this thread. if he does reappear he will deny saying most of what he said...at least that's what he usually does

What defender do you know of that can shut down a guy that shoots 8-14 from 3 point range? I'm rooting against the guy too (because I hate the knicks) but you can't deny the fact that he is playing great basketball, we don't know what will happen tomorrow or next week or 5 years from now but we do know that he is playing lights out right now, lets quit trying to throw out his TO stats or (now) the stats of the guy he's guarding to try to and counter the fact that he's playing great.

i honestly don't care what he does, good or bad.

but defense is part of the game, as is ball control, ie turnovers, and you can't dismiss those stats when looking at the total value of a player....

i will say...linsantiy hasn't reached chicago yet....we have't had a knicks game in like 10 days or so.
