Grateful Dead in '93 or '94, I can't remember. What I do remember is being pissed because my hippie parents made me and my sister go, and it was the last day of school and I missed the school carnival!

Pearl Jam, October 5, 2000. Air Canada Centre, Toronto Ontario. I had to beg my sister to let me use her cc to buy the tickets through the Ten Club (which I had only recently joined at the time). She wasn't yup happy that I wouldn't even have the tickets in hand until the day of the show. Eventually the seventeen year old me got his way. Then came the issue of finding someone to go with me (story of my life...). when all was said and done I gave the second ticket (9th row floors!), to a friend asking only for a ticket to a future concert a payment. That ended up beingmy second show, small-venue Green album era Weezer show.

Back to the first show: there were only two songs I desperately wanted to hear and I got them both to close out the show: baba and indifference.

That was a great tour, and an excellent choice for your first show.

"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

Have you ever watched any of her concert dvd's, like The Drowned World Tour, or listened to her live albums, etc? She doesn't lip sync live usually. Most people lip sync at the Super Bowl if that is what you're referring to; It is difficult to hear otherwise. Anyway, yeah, I'm a Pearl Jam and Madonna fan. Whoa. She is an icon and i'm excited.

I think lip synching happens more with dancer/singers due to the difficulty in doing both simultaneously.
I have never seen her concert dvd's

Britney Spears. Known to lip synch when she dances and finds it too difficult to do both together. Eddie slagged her off when he was here last year. :D
