    Free Agency
Time to see who wins the annual showdown between the Raiders and Redskins on worst possible contract offers. Wes Welker and Stephen Jackson must be very excited.

    :lol::lol:

just reading the worst FA signings on yahoo...and it was all WA and Oakland

Wont be the Raiders. The best hire they ever made was getting Reggie McKenzie from the Packers. He wont be a fool like the Raiders of old.

Lol, I just heard that too and I started laughing. Probably had to release him after what the GM said about him. Oh well what will he ever do with his banked millions and Harvard degree?

Value Of U.S. Dollar Plummets After Joe Flacco Signs NFL's Richest Contract

BALTIMORE—Economists expressed shock this week as the value of the U.S. dollar plunged by more than 98 percent after Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco signed the NFL’s richest contract.

Flacco, who was ranked 19th in the NFL for completion percentage during the 2012 season, received a six-year, $120.6 million deal, abruptly triggering the most catastrophic collapse of U.S. currency in American history.

“Unfortunately, the discouraging reports that Joe Flacco is now the highest-paid player in the NFL have had a devastating impact on U.S. exchange rates,” said chairman of the Federal Reserve Ben Bernanke, chastising the Ravens for the disastrous and irresponsible financial mistake that severely crippled the purchasing power of the dollar. “It was an ill-advised and reckless move to pay that much money to a quarterback who has never been selected to a Pro Bowl.”

“The Baltimore Ravens have single-handedly made the dollar worthless,” added Bernanke.

Thoughts on the Welker deal ...

Tom Brady ... You are a fucking idiot for thinking the Pats would help you out with taking pennies on the dollar in hopes that they would surround you with tools to win another super bowl ... You should slam your head in a door ... You dolt

Broncos are the favorites for the SB next year. Manning loves sneaky slot guys

    Brady, you are an idiot

    Brady, what were you thinking?

    WTF Brady?

    That's it so far ...

Rumors swirling about the Packers and Steven Jackson possible 3 year deal. :D

Outside chance Jennings may come back unless the Vikes backup the Brinks truck out of desperation.

Too risky to pay top dollar for a RB that is 30.

I thought packers GM were smart.

3 years would be really stupid. 1...maybe 2 at a decent $ and it would be a good pickup. The Pack need a RB, and I do think Jackson has the skillset still. I would just worry about him getting injured....as he does every year!
The turn at Lambeau is got to be tougher on his frail knees than in St. Louis....especially come November.

3 year deal but probably one of those backloaded deals where he gets cut before the last year. He wont be the only back getting carries. I think it would be a great pickup for them. He can pass block and they could use him in short yardage instead of Kuhn the fullback.

    Pats signed Wes Welker's replacement.

"Lose one receiver, add another: Patriots reach agreement in principle on five-year deal with former Ram Danny Amendola, per league source."

yeah...and as that football life points out, they were on the verge of turning things around. playoff win the year before and they were like 4-1 when modell announced the move. then it all went to shit. and the ravens drafted ray lewis the next spring and won the super bowl a few years later.

god that's gotta be the worst thing ever for life long fans of that team. can't imagine.
