I do not get why there would be any fallout...this team has 1 playoff win since '95...they are becoming irrelevant.
This team has just gotten worse under Garrett, and like last year the D is showing signs of cracking. Until they make a serious effort to build a quality O line and D line this team will continue to muddle along in mediocrity...I do not see that happening...Jones has to have hollywood players. Sad part about watching the game yesterday was watching guys like Beasley and Harris, 2 guys with speed and it makes wonder why they haven't played more, why Jones is starting over Dunbar? another mystery! The DB position was rebuilt and 2 Washington receivers were that open.
Really don't see Garrett keeping his job...unless Jones uses the injuries as an excuse to keep him.I have certain rules I live by ... My First Rule ... I don't believe anything the government tells me ... George Carlin

That doesn't stop people around here from going apeshit if they lose. Especially to the Redskins, on Thanksgiving. For a team that clearly isn't going to the Super Bowl, this was their Super Bowl. The media around here are pretty funny, as many media markets are. They lose one week and they're all giving up, then they win and people are back on the bandwagon. After those 2 wins to Philly and Cleveland the media and many of the fans were drinking the Cowboy Kool-Aid again. One of the worst, Mike Doocy, had been talking Super Bowl, but was calling for everybody for Jones to step down and Garrett, Ryan and Romo to be fired at halftime yesterday."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -

That's the problem...for some reason people failed to see that they struggled to beat poor teams in Philly and Cleveland...and they did struggle against Philly, the O only scored 14 points.
I think it was Troy who said yesterday when they get behind and Romo is turned loose the offence looks so much better...so I don't understand why Garrett doesn't just let Tony do what Tony is good at and he seems really comfortable in the no huddle and plays really well in the no huddle...Romo is also very good when rolling out of the pocket...yet they don't seem to design any plays for him or at least no enough...but Garrett is the worst and most unexciting play caller there is...hardly see and reverses, never see the flea flicker anything that might catch a defence sleeping...especially with the running game struggling, try using Harris or Beasley in a reverse to gain some yards on the ground...speedy guys...should have some plays just for those guys.I have certain rules I live by ... You have the benefit of living outside the Dallas media bubble."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -

That is true ... you mean the media in Dallas can't see how mediocre this team is ... wow
I live in the Detroit media market and even a lot of the media on radio admit the lions are average at best ... and many said they would not make the playoffs this year.
A few even thought the tigers would loose the WS ... but to be that biased ... no wonder Jones has no incentive to get much better ... it sounds like they help market the team as relevant.I have certain rules I live by ... It's a little more complicated than that. Rocking the boat too much is not good in Jerry's bubble. Also a lot of it is just local networks trying to hype the Cowboys. People are more interested in the Cowboys if they think they're contenders. For the most part the media is just in love with the Cowboys, but there is also an element of "don't piss off Jerry". Dale Hansen is the only guy who really speaks his mind, and it's always negative, mainly because he's butthurt over Jerry getting him fired from his old job at Dallas Cowboys Radio Network for rocking the boat too much."See a broad to get dat booty yak 'em, leg 'er down, a smack 'em yak 'em!"0 -
