2nd playoff win in most people's lives.  (Wob excluded.)
Thankfully Wob was able to be distracted by the best golfer to walk the planet (Tiger Woods) for the last 26 years.  A man whose golf abilities were only eclipsed by his character.

Wob's a Cowboys fan. Naturally he only roots for athletes who exemplify only the finest of character traits.

I should have said the strength of his character.

.is is my imagination or did the rams get completely hosed on  3rd down PI non-call on their final possession? the defender was totally tugging on  (I think) pookie’s jersey. rams were gonna kick a FG and win that game.
Yep, just over 4minutes left on 3rd down, defender tugged Nacua's jersey and wrapped him a bit with his arm. Should have been PI and first down in FG range.

Or maybe led to a TD.

So, I was flying back from Vegas during the game. It was 14-0 when I left; 42-something when I landed. I had neither the know how or desire to watch the game in flight. I was really hoping I’d see a cowboys fan in the SLC airport to shout “how bout dem cowboys!?” I was wearing my hat. Anyway, fuck those guys. I’m over it and them. It’s been 30 years since they’ve done jackshit. I’m like halifax…I had my time. I guess unlike halifax, I have had at least a LITTLE hope recently.

I have quite a few cowboy fan friends in Vegas. I saw a bunch of them at two parties. one, seemingly pretty drunk friend, was nearly screaming to me, “no fucking way in hell we’re losing to those motherfucking pussy ass bitches!”….or something very similar…I told him, “I dunno, man….aaron jones, jordan love looking good, our dumbass coach….” anyway, I’m far from shocked.

so, I get home, I’m catching up with my wife, with the detroit game on mute. for whatever reason, I was pulling for the rams (even tho I 100% HATE every other LA team)….is is my imagination or did the rams get completely hosed on  3rd down PI non-call on their final possession? the defender was totally tugging on  (I think) pookie’s jersey. rams were gonna kick a FG and win that game.
Haha.....yeah, but, where are they on your rankings?

Only the top 5 matter in the WPR and they’re clearly not in that group.

Either way Rams would have been in prime shape.
First down at the 26 yard line with about 4 minutes left. They could have bled the clock way down if they picked up one more first down. So either a FG or TD to take the lead very late in the game.

Note to the worst offensive coordinator in the playoffs:
If you start with an empty backfield, the defense is pretty sure you are not running.

The horror that is the Eagles' play calling is on full display.
Sad.  Really something that is screwing their entire team.

(Edit - I'm rooting for the Eagles. )

Play calling tonight was high schoolish. That may be an insult to high school football play callers!

I just mean God no Bellicheck.  At the very least for Birds both coordinators have to go.  Offensive scheme and play calling was awful all year.  How crazy is it that a coach who made a Super Bowl and started 10-1 the next year might get fired and probably deservedly so.  Just a wild last 6 or 7 weeks

No doubt.... but I have less faith in KC up in Buffalo this weekend than I do the Bills. I'm not picking the Bills to go all the way, but I do think they win this weekend and we get a BUF / BAL AFCCG.

The Bills have some pretty catastrophic injury issues at linebacker.  Yesterday they were down to their 6th (they play 2 in their defense) and a guy they just signed to the practice squad.
Not a good thing vs Mahomes and Kelce

Dallas and Eagles need an coaching overhaul.  Dallas had 15 probowlers.  They are doing something right but coaching isn't one of them...

CJ Stroud is a stud.  Looking forward to what he does in the future.

Bills/Texans and 49ers/Bucs are my guesses.  I'd like to see Bill vs 49ers in the superb Owl.

Would hate to see Tomlin leave the Steelers.  He's been a great coach and classy.  Big shoes to fill if he goes.  They still need a QB though.

They should do away with the QB protection "slide" rule. If a QB wants to run, that's fine, but now they're a running back. Josh Allen can run over people, so they need to come flying at him, but if he decides to slide at the last minute and a defensive guy makes contact, he throws a tantrum and here comes the flag.

Below is Allen being a shyster as usual, faking a slide and thus "faking out" the Steelers' defender. Also featured is later in the game where he does decide to slide, takes a soft hit, and gets the flag. I say defenders should just fucking smash him no matter what, 15-yard penalty be damned.
