    Sad news.
Before my time but all indications are your dad's opinion is pretty much consensus.
Apparently a hell of a lacrosse player as well.

    RIP.
    This weekend we rock Portland

I’ve heard from everyone that he was the best.  Look at his stats and I think he would excel in todays game too, he was that good.  He was great in Mars Attacks too.

    RIP Jim Brown.

the “crowd” for this USFL semifinal is embarrassing but predictable. being played in canton, ohio with two teams from neighboring states. NBC has collingsworth’s kid and the clapper calling the game. IMO, you’re a dope if you invested in this or the XFL.

Yep. They are glorious. Even the Jets somehow nailed theirs this morning. So many great throwbacks coming out....and then you have the Colts going with a black helmet for some reason.

Ezekiel Elliot signs with the Pats.
AFC East should be an interesting division this year

It's going to be a gauntlet this year... I think NE will improve from last year but I don't think it will matter much in this division, and w/ the schedule they have (AFCW & NFCE  :s)

well, Fme, it looks like trey lance is not gonna be the stud you predicted.

but on the bright side, you’ve got an ex-trojan as QB2!

One of the biggest draft misses ever considering the picks they gave up and the guys that were drafted right after him. Parsons, Waddle, Ja’Mar Chase, Surtain. Imagine adding any of those guys to that Niners roster.

just goes to show, there’s value in playing four years in D1 (purdy) as opposed to 9 games at podunk state. I’m so tired of hearing about “arm talent” and the like. I hope the colts whiffed on richardson, too. that said, I hope trey can fit in somewhere (else).

The hype surrounding that guy was huge...  Give him a few years on the bench and maybe he will get some oomph back?

Mr irrelevant does look good.  I hope he kills this year.

I think Lance's career is irreparably stunted.

He has barely played since 2019 and that was for ND State, and red-sharted in 2018.

MAYBE someone with low present expectations could take a chance and give him a shot at this point and develop him, but not sure who that could be.

I think with raw tooled QBs, you almost have to throw them into the deep end to see if they sink or swim.  I also think that since Josh Allen, a lot of raw-tool QBs are going to be over-drafted for awhile.

THIS!.  What happened to developing a QB?  Most teams out there don't know how to harness their talent.  It is sink or swim.  The Jets and Browns have mishandled every QB they've drafted for the last oh, 30 years?

I don't ever remember a team cutting their losses on a guy who they gave up so much draft equity for and only saw him play in what, 2 NFL starts?  I kind of admire the shrewdness of John Lynch here.

A lot of draft capital but we are past that now.  Need to do what is best for the team overall.

This is about cap at this point.  Make the best cap move....if possible, they should keep him as 3rd string.  If there is a big savings in trading him for a future Mr irrelevant,  go for it.
