I hate the Steelers and respect Tomlin. He's a good coach that gets his team to play hard every week. They also generally play with discipline and don't beat themselves.

I think Terry Bradshaw wasn't far off the mark when he called him a glorified cheerleader... he's great w/ the players, he managed to keep Antonio Brown under wraps for all those years... no small feat right there, but OTOH, they are routinely stacked w/ talent, and what has he been able to do with it? It's been what, 12 years since they went to the Super Bowl and 14 since they won it?
He's a top ten coach in the league, but IMO that's more a reflection of the rest of the league than Tomlin's skills as a HC.

Tomlin is good. Players like and respect him. He manages a good football program. He has won a title. Enjoy the stability. A huge step is to be able to remain competitive and in the conversation before getting hot/lucky and winning 2-3 playoff games and the Superbowl. Even in a transition year they were 9-8.
